The Biggest problem you Raider fans are facing is the fact that Collins is putting up good enough #s so he wont get benched. 300+ yards passing wont get him benched anytime soon because the coaching staff will maintain having faith in him, regardless how the win/loss ratio is. Unfortunate but true. Another prime example of this is Kurt Warner in Arizona.

Kerry Collins has to go! There is no doubt that he was Denver's MVP. He lacks in reading deffences, making accurate throws and getting points on the board. Rich commented that if Collins keeps making bad decisions the Raiders will never be a threat to anyone but them selves! It is time to bring Andrew Walter! We have nothing to loose and too much to gain. If Andrew screws up, at least we know we have no one to throw the ball. Then again if he does well he can be the next big ben or Brady!

Not to rub salt in the wound... but lots of folks criticized me early in the season when I suggested that Collins was not the answer at QB. In fact, there were quite a few who said that they'd prefer KC over Brees... wow, looking back that was even more insane than I thought at the time!
Sorry, but KC can't hold Bree's jock. And on a more positive note- your Defense is definitely picking it up lately. Get rid of KC and Norv and 70% of your troubles will be solved instantly. JMHO |

Wow, this thread is still going?
To me, Kerry Collins is like this little Mexican place across town from me, El Tapitio. They make the best f'ing tacos ever. My favorites are al pastor and langua. They're really small so you can eat like 10 if you want to. I like to get 'em with everything so they're really hot with a couple of jalapenos on the side. I'd eat that stuff everyday if I could; nothing better than sitting there sweating, with a runny nose and drinking a gallon of ice cold Pepsi while I eat a dozen super hot tacos. However, while it always sounds like a good idea to go to Tapitio, and while the food looks good, and tastes good, the end result for me is always the same; a balloon knot torching, intestine twisting, half hour long trip sitting on the john the next day. In other words, it all seems like a good idea at the time, but the end result is always a fiery ****storm. Just like Kerry Collins. You see the big arm and the long completions and you realize the potential of the offense if he could perform like that all the time. But in the end he's just a red hot case of diarrhea. Maybe I'll start calling him "Tapatio". |
