The offense, in fact, ranks 11th in the league in offense despite going against three very good defenses. The Raiders scored the same number of points against NE as Pittsburgh did (and the refs gave Pittsburgh seven points), despite playing on the road and playing against a defense that included Rodney Harrison. The Raiders scored more points on the road against Philly than Atlanta and San Francisco did combined.
Could it be better? You bet. And it will be.

im not slamming anybody doing good things,, and i agree with that... but we have an offense that shouldnt be stopped as easily as it has been.....they should use moss as somewhat a decoy when the games start..if he is double covered go to someone else , when the defense realizes they have to cover everybody moss will be open more.... if moss is doubled someone should be open most of the time... we need to force defenses into covering everyone, then we will have alot of 1 on 1 coverage with moss

we are on this trhead to discuss the team, good or bad although i dont agree with bashing any single player i do feel jano and gibson deserve it. i think we also have a very big disipline problem and the only people to blame for that is the coaches. The penalties are really getting totally retarded.

Whoa sunshine ... this ain't no smack thread. It's Vacant's attempt to get people to understand that negativity is not what it's going to take to turn this team around. We can whine and cry and bitch and moan all we want, but it's up to the TEAM to win games, not us as fans.

If you think our team sucks that badly, take your toys and go home. NY has plenty of sports teams for you to choose from.

Okay, that's make sense. As fans who aren't professionals, the fact of the matter is that we definately couldn't do a better job than Norv and co.

I feel like crying about everything doesn't change our 0-3 record, so let's talk about how we will beat Dallas.

I think everyone has that raw feelings when we lose. I did and believe me I hold nothing back when it comes to sloppy play, or Jano's missed field goals. The Ref's are Ref's and we should be used to the bad calls. With that said, I don't think that we did all that bad our first 3 games, we have 2 more before the bye. If we are 2-3 at the bye I will be very happy.

Brooklyn - there is a point to be had here. People are tired of the negativity. Before you start telling me to pull my head out - listen to what a lot of people are saying. In the off-season everyone and their mother was saying we would win the AFC West. Well, I was an objective one and I felt that we did not make enough defensive changes to state that we had turned things around. Becoming a winning team takes time and maturation. We have several new starters and I feel like by mid-season or later we will gel and start winning as a steam and become MORE CONSISTENT. We are not a superbowl team and if this is all you want then come back when we are better. I have a hard time finding any use for your constant negative perspective.

The best line I keep hearing when people tell the negative people to shut up is that you "fans" are more passionate and maybe more of a fan then the rest of us. I have nothing personal against you but lets face it the negative crap is getting tired.
