I agree with Bill Callahan ~Merged~
The Raiders are the STUPIDEST team I've ever seen! The defense has played the Eagles pretty well, but too many dumb penalties on third down, allowing the Eagles to extend drives. The Phiily score to open the 3rd quarter was a direct result of a stupid roughing the passer penalty on third down!
Meanwhile, the offensive line can't run block, the receivers have dropped several passes, Collins is scatterarmed -- but again the biggest bugaboo is stupid penalties, like Gallery's 15-yard facemask penalty when the Raiders had the ball at midfield. Moss looks totally uninterested in blocking, and if he's open, I haven't seen it. He also dropped one pass that would've gotten the offense out of a big hole. Yes, he got hit, but Owens manages to hold onto the ball when he gets hit! Jordan also drops way too many easy passes. I've never seen a team so incapable of making a smart play when needed. It can't all be the coaching, because this s**t was going on under Callahan's staff as well as under Turner's. The players have to be accountable. Now the Eagles are pulling away -- 0-3 here comes Oakland. UNTIL they learn to stop committing stupid penalties that extend opponent drives and kill their own drives, this team is going to struggle to win ANY games this season.

It is time for Norv to come out and say openly: WE ARE PLAYING POOR and we are making stupid mistakes.
If we keep maximizing the little we are doing well and the minimizing the MANY things we are doing wrong, we will not progress. As with alcoholics, the first step is to recognize your faults...

Can we all please wake up and realize the raiders are pathetic?
i have been a fan for 25 years.....this is the worst ever!! too many dumb players, costly penalties... the glory years are over.... I hate to say all these things but what is a frustrated fan to do? - We will never win. period. we need a shake up from top to bottom dont blame collins, jano, etc. blame al davis this isnt the 70's anymore...pride and poise? they have none. bring on a coach will FULL CONTROL. No bs puppets then and only then will we ever be competitive again...

Every time they manage to make a play, they usually turn right around and do something stupid to give back the positive yardage! Illegal formation when they are in the red zone!
Meanwhile, Turner has to figure out a way to get Moss open. And why are receivers running routes that are too short to get them first downs?
