Some of you ask when the penalties are going to stop? I know when...
When Al Davis is in his grave and the Raiders organization hires a disciplinarian like Bill Parcels (someone like him). The closest thing Oakland has had to a hard-ass coach is John Gruden. Al took away his power and constantly overruled him taking away his ability to do his job. Its a known fact Al likes to be in control. Well until he gets a coach that will be a hard ass and give him full control, the Raiders will continue to suck. We are destined to seasons of mediocrity until a major change hits the organization, it starts ALL the way at the top.

Al is not out there commiting the penalties.
And we get more ticky-tack fouls called than anyone, while doing the same thing.

Al hires coaches that are passive. He avoids hiring disciplinarian coachs and refuses to give power to the coaching staff to reprimand the players. Most recently Callahan tried to repremand Woodson, overturned by Al. There's LONG history in this. Why do you think Al Saunders, Nick Saban, and Dennis Green wanted to avoid Oakland? Would you want to be Al's puppet?
Look at the coaches of the recent years...only one had the balls to put the players in their place. gruden...the rest are pussies: Art Shell Mike White Joe Bugel Bill callahan Norv Turner |

Is there away we can fine players for committing penalties, especially stupid ones. We should fine players $5k for being offsides, $7500 for holding, $10K for roughing the passer or punter, $15K for unsportsman like conduct, and see if these penalties start to stop. If not those figures, somekind of fine according to the salary of the player.
For example if woodson committs a PI penalty for 25 yards he should get fined 10% of what he gets for that game. Which is $70K, I love woodson though. I hope we sign him and never spend a draft pick on a cb for many years. Thoughts on my propasition? (SPELLING COULD BE OFF...LOL)

Did I wish death on Al Davis? Nope. I stated a fact. Al will never give up control of the team...never. So until the day he dies, we get this mediocrity and undisciplined ****ty play. Any Coach that has ever tried to stand up to Al Davis was promptly fired or quit.
Do your research, this has been the "Raiders" for the last 20 years. So stfu. |

You've only seen two games, your opener and the Chiefs and Raiders grudge match. Both of those things are gonna put some extra laundry on the ground. There is still a chance you guys can get that squared away before it kills you.

Let's face it, people, Al loves that bad boy image that the Raiders have and
he's not going to change that anytime soon. That 'mystique' is why so many people like the Raiders. But all those drive-killing penalties are driving me nuts too...... |

Hmmm without Al Davis would we have Moss? Would we have picked up Romo a few years ago? Would we have picked up Rice?
