Thumbs up Why won't you give the Chiefs the credit they deserve?

How long is it going to take? I just come here, not expecting to post anything, and just lurk a little not to come of like an arrogant jerk!

But all you are talking about is what went wrong, and I don't see anyone saying you were outplayed by a very good team in the Chiefs.

But you guys gave us a fight and really knocked us around. To me, you showed me you were the team to beat in the division. Both the Chargers and Broncos looked pathetic today! I think SD's tough schedule will expose them, and Plummer will be the downfall of the Broncos IMO.

I don't think the Broncos or Chargers would have walked out of there tonight with a victory. Tell me I'm crazy!

I think the fanbase really just kinda blew us off like we were going to be weak because we have been weak. No one is talking about the plays Derrick Johnson made on the field. No one is talking about the speed on the outside we now have with Bell and Johnson.

No one is talking about how our backup lineman performed, made holes, and gave Trent time to throw the ball. No one is talking about the great performances by Surtain and McCleon, to hold Moss to what they did.

You are only talking about how we did this wrong, and f'd this up.

Before the game, the coaching staff made the decision to bench Boerigter, and started both Boomer Grigsby and Rich Scanlon, to give them an edge on special teams. I think that really paid off as I think you guys have a really good return guy in Carr. And, your offense is going to put up points this year. I hope so, I have Jordan and Moss on my fantasy teams!

I think the Chiefs are still trying to disprove all the nay-sayers that are still out there...

Just also wanted to edit this and add good luck the rest of the way, and maybe we can get an extra game in sometime in January, both the next ones at our place

Because the guys that won the game for you were the Refs. The game came down to who got the better calls. The Chiefs did. Sure the Chiefs had some holding calls But none of them were bigger than the TD taken away from Moss and the uncatchable pass P.I. call.

Nope, I still have no respect for KC and still think that they don't deserve more credit than the refs.

There were too many flags on both sides. It's not poor judgement on the part of the referees as much as it is undiscipline on the part of the players, IMO.

I"m not gonna bash the Chiefs...they did what any well-prepared, disciplined team does--capitalize on the other team's mistakes.

The Raiders had their chance to take control of this game, and all of them....ALL OF THEM....let it go.

CMH, you earned your win...you'll get no smack talk or excuses from me, period. Congrats.

actually you guys are the team to beat cause you are 2-0. We really have a lost team right now cause we only have two guys making plays and thats CWOOD(give him his money) and Moss, but we ae mad right now cause we had a chance to win and we didnt despite all the bad calls and dumb mistake and when it counted you guys made they plays so congratulation!

I was very nervous, and yes the Raiders could of won the game. That's why I am saying the Chiefs aren't any better than them at this point, except for the fact that they have a 2 game lead over both them and the Chargers.

And I can't wait till both Wellbourne and Warfield come back...

when the raiders can play a game that the refs do not control, that is when we'll see what we can really do, until then we will continue to see bull crap calls, time and time and time again....

I agree, I think the Raiders and Chefs will be in the top two slots of the Western division. Hopefully they split the series with a Raider win at Arrowhead. The Raiders aren't comfortable with eachother on either side of the ball and they should settle in and start winning some games after the bye week.

how did they beat us? they made us take 3 points instead of our 7. They gave us a 50 yard penalty on an uncatchable pass which ended up in an easy score.

If anything they could have made up for their ****up by not calling that hold on Walker since it was on the opposite side of the play. These refs are heartless and are ruining football.
