Home opener not sold out?

I never have to worry about black out... and yes, it does suck, for those in Cali.

We have one of, if not thee top fan based in the NFL, and sell the most merchandise, yet do not sell out??? well with 2 football markets in the bay area, and with the ecomony, it don't sell, but it still fills up, just not in the time frame for tv decsions...

I have sunday ticket... U ever hear of it? it does cost money, you may have to get a 2nd job, but then again, all you care about is the chiefs, and they show here all the time, ... until around week 6 when the go 1-5

hey tuck rule.. the raiders are #1 in team merchandise selling, and have been for years.... and raider nation has been puting more fans in away stadiums than any other team out there, no matter what stadium you go to there are buses and buses of raider fans taking over parking lots all over the country.... and living a half-hour away from Foxborough, i know that before the parcells era new england wasnt selling out in there home games at all

It's called being in a small market dumbass. The Colts face the same thing too and they even had trouble selling out playoff tickets.

I can only assume that the Chiefs sell out their games...since there's only Royals baseball to occupy your time.

That is true about pre Parcells, but since he came they have sold out every game. Raiders were in the SB 3 years ago. The reason I posted that thread is I was watching NFL Total Access and a show on the KC-Oakland rivalry and how it might be the best in all pro sports. I hadn't realized it was so intense. Then I came online to this board and read a post that said tix had to be bought up by a local cable co. and I was surprised. I wasn't trolling, I asked what the story was. As far as the responses that Tix prices are too high and it is a blue collar town, I find that to be BS. There is no town more blue collar than Pittsburgh and all of their games are sold out early. I also suspect if the gang banger types all around the country hadn't adopted Raider Black and Silver because of the "bad boy" image then Raiders merch. would not even be in the top ten.

I went to the Saints and Chiefs game last year and ended up sitting in a section with a TON of Chiefs fans...

I was talking to the people sitting next to me and they were telling me that they drove all the way down from KC because they couldn't afford to buy tickets up at Arrowhead because people would buy them and try to sell them RIDICULOUSLY above face value...

They said that other people would buy them, but the figured it to be cheaper to drive all the way down to New Orleans, pay for tickets and a hotel room and drive all the way back up to Kansas City then pay for those tickets...

It isn't easy to get into Arrowhead... but KC has REAL diehard fans...

Of course the Raiders sell a lot of merchandise. It's to gang members who want to prove they're criminals. What better way to show you're an off-duty criminal than to wear anything related to the city of Oakland.
It's kind of relaxing here in KC compared to Oakland. Plus the Raiders probably get credit every time some geek buys a Star Trek outfit. People just assume they're buying clothes to wear to a Raiders game.
That's why we have all of this extra time and money to attend games. We save a lot of time and money by not gang-banging and racking up hospital bills to treat stab wounds inflicted by crack addicts.
