As Promised - here I am.....

Well people I promised I would return (if only for a short time) to discuss thursdays game.

I see now that post game we are getting a little more respect for our D - which pre-game was there 'for the taking' in alot of raider fans eyes.

I think Oakland are going to be in one shootout after another this year and should lead to some exciting football - with Moss, Porter, Curry and Gabriel all on the same field I think we should see Collins put up some good numbers.

The Oakland defense is just as bad as it always was - there is little point in making such a good effort at shutting down the run when your pass D is so awful.

You really need to start winning some games soon becuse I think that Moss will soon start to be looking for a way out of Oakland now that he has realised that Collins is not Culpepper.

Overall you got beat by the best team in the NFL and the more sensible of you will look upon this as 'not the end of the world' - you hung with the Pats for 3 quarters or so ....which is not bad.

I wonder what the over/under is for the Chiefs game....anything less than 80 and im taking the OVER lol

Correction my Pat-Cee fan, we were there till late in the 4th quarter. The turnover and a lack of pass rush is what killed us in this game. Be prepared for the rest of the league. We were a 5-11 team last year. We got better on offense and we stopped Dillon for the most part. So if you are flashing your bulbs right now, best be prepared it is a LONG season.

I thought the Raiders looked pretty good actually and would have made it tight without just a couple of key mistakes, those decided the game and you deserved the win for them but they hung tight otherwise, you have to admit. But yeah, definately take the over on the KC game!

Bull****...You were down by 20 until late in the 4th quarter. They gave you a mercy TD that cut the lead to 10. I don't recall the Pats scoring late in the game to run up the score. I also don't remember the Chiefs losing to the Raiders since 4 seasons ago.

I don't remember the Pats going for 2. I do remember you getting blown the **** out, the Pats covering the spread, and the Raiders losing for the 25th time in their last 34 games though.

Let me explain it so that you can understand. The largest lead the Patsies had was 16 points. a lead of 16 points can be covered by two touchdowns and two two point conversions.

Had a couple of plays gone the other way, we would have had the upset. They didn't. We lost to the Pats in their house. Oh well....

As I said, it was never more than a two score game.... Again, oh well....
