You are on a Raider board and each member has his own right to give neg or pos rep. So they gave him neg rep. Some have felt ok to give you pos rep. Each members choice.

I'll have to 3rd that...heh. I found the article plus the pic of Rico funny. It took a little bit of thought and planning to put that together so kudos to you. And while it is each members right to give rep as they please, at the risk of being beat on, I'll also have to say that I personally wouldn't have given red dots on that one. It was in the correct forum. What sucks is if this guy goes and makes another legit post in a different forum, people are going to see all the red and automatically assume he's an asshole. He's not going to get a fair shake...on the OTHER hand, it IS a Raider forum and sometimes a bear gets stung trying to get some honey. Is there such a thing as a Fair Homer?

Yea but doesn't that take away the credibility of the rep system? What's the point of having a smack forum if any fan of a rival team can't post smack without getting nailed with neg rep. I mean, 95% of the people registered here are Raider fans, so it's not as if any Raider fans' rep would take any kind of impact if they posted smack about other teams. I just think to protect the credibility of the rep system, neg rep should only be given to someone who is excessively disrespectful, or someone who can't follow the rules... but not for garden variety smack.

I have to admit that article was kind of funny! I guess you wold have to have seen Napolen Dynamoite to appreciate it.

As for negative rep, if someone doesn't like the post they have every right to give the guy a negative rep. I personally don't use them but to each his own.


As for the Patty fans.....Well I guess when it takes you almost 40 years to actually do something big, you have to let them emjoy it. But, this guy is about 2 post away from being in the Hall of Shame!

Like what you did with my name there - trés witty!

I talk about whining and crying when everyone is on a level playing field - ie responses to people who dont have moderator privileges.

As far as the retrospective altering goes - consider me over it - I had my questions answered, even despite myself I enjoyed the touch of your reply being edited directly onto my post.
