Found this thread because the rep ho's / Chargers "fans" apparently still haven't grown up:

Not too far back, you sent me a really nice PM on those boards (related to something off the Chargers board). I wrote an extensive response, but guess your PM's were off again before I was able to get it back.

Anyway, it's still mattered to me to let you know that you were not the root of problems there. Those who pulled garbage are just simply pulling it on others now, and making me ashamed to have grown up a Chargers fan. Though any particular board isn't a fair sample, it certainly seems that the Charger fan base has deteriorated a good deal in recent years (and why moderators allow the rep ho's to continue on those boards, I have no idea -- the tolerated "lowest common denominator" just keeps dropping by the day).

Just hope all is well, and please take care and have a Happy Thanksgiving. You were right to get off those boards, and you were not the problem. I sincerely hope you know that.

[And to any loser Charger "fans" / "rep ho's" who are reading and need to grow up already and get a life -- just keep up the behavior and the team ain't even remaining in SD. Be my guest and keep pushin' it. Charger fan base has turned pretty shameful, and there's no pride in affiliation right now. All the more power to those who find the Raiders (or maybe even other teams), and I don't blame 'em.]

I agree with you. Nothing wrong with a bit of good natured, all in fun, smack talk. I thought your "article" was funny.

If you are going to hang in the smack talk room, you need to keep a sense of humor. If you are a dainty flower that gets his/her feelings hurt easily, this isn't the place for you.

I think some of the posts in this thread are out of line, but that's just my opinion. For the record, I think altering a post after the fact is wrong... again, just my opinion.

are you really judging an entire fan base on a group of posters in one thread of a message forum...a group that doesn't even compromise the entire forum, let alone the fanbase?
