last night i was hangin with a good friend of mine, who is a boston native and a die hard patriots fan. Well, we were headin out to the clubs, and i said to him "Guess who the patriots play on opening day" he says "who?" i laughed and said "the raiders" he laughs and says "they're gonna lose" i say "whos gonna lose?" he says "the patriots" he says "we lost ty law, bruschi wont be there, and we've lost both our coordinators" he continues to say "And not to mention that its hard to cover randy moss, even if it is the patriots covering him" HAHAHAHAHAHA.....i thought it was classic that he said HIS TEAM was gonna lose...so it just goes to show that not all gaytriot fans r blinded by the last couple of yrs.....its funny how u gaytriot fans look right past us, just like u did against the fins last yr, in week 14 or whatever it was...and what happened?? U lost to the fins, the 2nd worst team in the league last yr....so continue to think that this game is already won, while we focus right on the biggest targets in the NFL. See u in foxboro!!!

Coach Bill is outstanding. Anyone who wouldn't want him in charge is either lying to themselves or doesn't know how today's NFL works. But....he lost his two top henchmen this year to other teams. You've still got a great head coach, but the collective savvy of your staff has dropped A LOT.

The absence of Law won't affect your secondary much.....right? Last year the patsys were talking about him like he should be wearing sandals and handing out loaves and fishes. Now he's irrelevant? OK......

Is bruschi going to be able to play with that tampon stapled to his chest? I guess this other superstar's absence won't affect your defense either, eh?

And somehow marsha brady got bit by the money bug during the off-season. Wants all his coin up front. Yeah, that team unity you've been riding the last few years looks real stable.

Congratulations are in order for the patsys efforts of the last few years. I don't like them, or you, but I can give credit where it's due. I hope you enjoyed your stay at the top. You're about to see what happens to team 'unity' when the losses are piling up faster than the wins.

We get hacked on a lot for 'living in the past'. Well, when you have a great history, that's what you lean on when things aren't going as well as they should be. Even without saying that, you would still get the message.....say by the end of October.

You'll undoubtedly win some games this year. At least you're going into it thinking the whole season will be a cake walk. We like you being confident.

Sure, though the offensive core is back, and Eric Mangini has been groomed to take over the defense ever since it became obvious Crennel was HC material. Frankly, I was sure he'd be gone after the 03-04 season.

Irrelevant, no. He's been a money corner. But in case you didn't notice, the Pats only lost only twice this past season and won the Super Bowl without him. With the emergence of Randall Gay, you can't really make the case that Law is irreplacable. As the newly conferred dynasty status shows, we did just fine without Ty Law. Sorry.

Sure it will. I never said the Patriots would waltz all the way to Detroit next February. Just that a last-place team like the Faiders aren't going to prove to be trouble. I was around, and I remember the awful seasons. Rooting for a 1-15 team builds character. It also makes the current success all the sweeter. You go ahead and live in the past, if you like. It certainly works for Squeeler fans. When you win as consistently as the Pats have for the past few years, you don't need to live in the past. When you suck **** like the Gayders, I guess you have no other option.
