Pats Fans Relieved!!!

Thank you Commissioner Tagliabue!!! Last year's opening night banner unveiling was way tooo nerve-racking, hell we almost lost to a good Colts team. Thank you for giving the 2 time defending champs a nice softball to open the season. Speaking for Pats fans everywhere, we appreciate you just letting us celebrate another banner without worrying about losing a football game. The Raiders are not in the same class as the Patriots and their fans are all roided up trekkies who still live in their parent's basements. I heard Vegas has already listed the Pats as 10 point favorites... thanks for the opening day pillow fight with the softest team in Football.

Don't blow your horn quite yet.....obviously you don't read the transaction wire in the newspaper under "transactions"....This ISN'T the Raiders of the past two years anymore with the additions they have made. Remember the saying "Any given Sunday"? Well, it doesn't discriminate.....Could happen on a Saturday, Friday, and oh yeah.....Thursday too. Sounds like you like the point spead. Go ALL in. Put the house on it. Just don't come crying to us when your posting on this board from the shelter!

You're right...

The Pats aren't unbeatable... hell they lost 2 games last year and 2 the year before. And they're downright awful at home, they lost there too... 3 years ago!!! The dynasty will roll over the laughingstock of the NFL.

well say whatever u want, we'll see when the ball is snapped. Its not like the pats 'dominated' the raiders the last time they played, matter of fact, the game ended in overtime. Say whatever u want chowdah boy. We'll see how it goes down.

Last time they played???

Didn't you just cry about how the Raiders are a completely different team??? They played 4 years ago... the Patriots are a much better team than they were then and the Raiders are much worse... agree or disagree?

Oh yeah I remember that... that was a great regualr season victory for the almight Raiders. Great gameplan by coach Callahan... too bad he didn't last. I love that you guys have to reference a playoff game that you choked away... 4 years ago and a meaningless regular season win 3 years ago. TRIVIA: Name the last AFC team to lose a Superbowl??? (HINT: IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE BLOWOUT)

yea, it was the raiders. Like i said, say whatever u wanna say. Its still gonna come down to what happens on the field. The pats r better since 4 yrs ago, and the raiders r getting better. theres no way to get too much worse than 5-11, so the only way is up, and u can hate on that all u want, Your pats have everything to lose, and we have everything to gain. Enjoy the ass kicking ur patsies get pu$$y.

city of champions.....Yes I absloutely LOVE the Red Sox and have been a fan all my life. I can agree with that.....being for New England myself I can safely say I love the Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins (for what that's worth) I have to admit I stayed true to the AFC and did root for the Patriots because that's what I am.....an AFC guy....the ONLY time I would root against the AFC is if the Donkeys or Chefs were in the bowl. But see.....it's people like you that are making it difficult for me to root for a team that has so many smug and arrogant fans like yourself.....Enjoy your "Dynasty" while it lasts. NOTHING is forever....

A Raider Fan calling another fanbase...

smug & arrogant... hysterical. You guys wear plastic spikes and makeup. Do I really need to go on? Hell, your cohort on this thread has referred to me as a "pu$$y" 3 times... yeah you're right, the Raider fans are a much classier bunch. One last thing.. Kerry Collins... oh god I almost said it without laughing this time.

Will you at least agree with me and say that NFL football has officially passed Al Davis by? He still thinks that you can win by signing a few big name FA's (See Sapp, Moss, Washington, Collins)... The salary cap has ushered in a new era of football and the Raiders are light years behind.

how r we light yrs behind? by signing possibly one of the best WR's ever? Look, each team runs differently, and i truly dont feel that signing randy moss is gonna hurt is.
