My number 1: No SB Victories. It's pretty bad to be blown out in the only SB you've ever been in.

Later.

I stand corrected 8 years on making the playoffs

Go back and check your stats on the 500 or better since 1994.

The Chargers' last playoff game was a 35-20 home wild-card loss to Indianapolis on Dec. 31, 1995, 11 months after they were embarrassed 49-26 by San Francisco in the Super Bowl

Since then, every NFL team except San Diego, Cincinnati and the expansion Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans have made the playoffs at least once. Cincinnati hasn't made the playoffs since 1990.

Oakland Raiders can't say much more

How about:
League Championships: 4
1967 (AFL), 1976 (Super Bowl), 1980 (Super Bowl), 1983 (Super Bowl)

Super Bowl XI
WR Fred Biletnikoff was named the game's MVP as the Raiders dominated the Minnesota Vikings 32-14 in Pasadena, Calif...

Super Bowl XV
The Raiders became the first team in NFL history to claim a championship as a Wild Card playoff team (still only wildcard team to play all games on the road)...

Super Bowl XVIII
The 12-4 Raiders ran roughshod over the Washington Redskins 38-9 on what NFL Films dubbed "Black Sunday"...

Conference Championships: 4
1976 (AFC), 1980 (AFC), 1983 (AFC), 2002 (AFC)

Division Championships: 15
1967 (AFL West), 1968 (AFL West), 1969 (AFL West), 1970 (AFC West), 1972 (AFC West), 1973 (AFC West), 1974 (AFC West), 1975 (AFC West), 1976 (AFC West), 1983 (AFC West), 1985 (AFC West), 1990 (AFC West), 2000 (AFC West), 2001 (AFC West), 2002 (AFC West)

Playoff Appearances: 21
1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1980, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1990, 1991, 1993, 2000, 2001, 2002

why is it so hard to lookup the chargers statistical history or do they just not want anyone to know what it is?

I'd love to see how many seasons records you would have to post to find 5 .500 or better seasons. It's not what you just said that's for sure.

You asked for it and here it is - Just call me stats boy! LMAO

From 1960 - 1969 which seems to be the Bolts golden era with Lance Alworth and John Hadle they had a winning season every year.

From 1970 - 1979 they had 2 winning seasons (1978 & 1979)and 1 .500 season (1977).

From 1980 - 1989 they regrouped with Dan Fouts and Kellen Winslow and had 3 winning seasons (1980 1981 1987) and 1 .500 season (1985).

From 1990 - 1999 was the decade with their only Super Bowl appearance (1994). They had 3 winning seasons (1992 1994 1995)and 3 .500 seasons (1993 1996 1999).

2000 - 2003 no winning seasons and 1 .500 season (2002)

I don't consider .500 a winning season (I considered them a draw) so remove those out and what you get in 30 years the Bolts have had 8 winning seasons and none this decade. Boy am I impressed

It seems that the Bolts work off the once every 8 year cycle - once in 8 years they have a winning season!

At least the Houston Texans have a legit excuse they have been in existence for only 4 years.

What is the Bolts excuse?

Come on Bolt fans - lets here the excuses and tell us the RAIDER NATION how glorious your team is NOT.
