All it says to me is.. perhaps Al Davis is going to allow the coaches to do tis sort of thing. The Raiders have "never" assigned a particular CB that type of assignment. Not Hayes or even Haynes... and I imagine we can ALL agree they were pretty good. it was always Al Davis's belief that it did not matter which CB covered the opponents receiver that corner would prevail. what you misunderstand is that was not within Aso's control. he did what he was told. you have this framed completely wrong.

Watch some Raiders games before you talk kid. For the last 6 games of the season he was manning up on the receivers.

No, you said he's finally "manning up". If you knew anything you'd know he's been BEGGING to move around for matchup purposes for four years, but Al wasn't having it.

If that is the case, then he has been given that assignment. and that truth does not hurt, but makes me very happy. because I have complained about it for years. dating WAYYY back. so thanks for bringing this info den4life. you have just made my day, and given me hope that perhaps AL Davis has seen the light. and if that is true??? then the Raiders may have a surprisingly good season. XD
