He's not stuck up or whatever you think, he's shy. I can relate. Being from New Orleans knowing exactly what Archie Manning went through, I can't blame Eli for making that decision to refuse to play for San Diego. I mean look at the Charger games against the Raiders, it's a home game for the Raiders. The Chargers last winning season was 1995. Stan Humphries was the quarterback for phuck's sake. He just didn't want to go to a franchise that just can't seem to do anything right. The Chargers went 4-12 and didn't fire their coach...that's a real commitment to winning. Who would Eli throw the ball to? Who would protect his blindside? That team is a phucking mess. This is hardly the first time a rookie has refused to play for a team...Kobe Bryant was drafted by the Hornets, Bo was drafted by the Buccaneers, Steve Francis, John Elway, and give me some more time and I'll give you more examples.
