Russell sucks!!!
Okay I know you're going to hit me with everything from bad recievers to bad coaching to a crappy offensive line to a team that can't run the ball. Yes, yes, yes and yes, all of that is true. But I really think the potential of this team is resting on Russell's back. Here's how I see it:
Bad coaching: Everyone seems to be saying that Russell is learning things... Translation (he don't know ****!, and that's limiting the playbook) Russell sucks (Check 1)
Bad recievers: Well the ball needs to be thrown within arms reach, and preferably with some touch (i.e. lighter throw on comeback routes, out in front on slants... etc) Russell sucks (Check 2)
Offensive line: This is where a good QB would audibalize into a play that won't end up with his back on the turf (when if ever has Russell audibalized?, Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco seem to be able to do this) (Check 3)
Can't Run the Ball: Well McFadden is injured so I guess this isn't really Russell's fault. However since Russell has shown to be a horrible passer (check his stat's) I'm going to guess that teams are somewhat keying in on the run so you guessed it (Check 4)
Yep Russell Sucks... Now bench that lame duck, let him count his millions and put someone that cares in!

Russell isn't even better than Flacco.
By the end of the season, Flacco and Ryan will have better numbers than Russell. In fact, every quarterback in Russell's class and beyond has surpassed him.

I feel where you are coming from, but I don't agree. Bad coaching means a bad playbook. Bad O-Line basically shuts down everything he can do. I'm sure no QB in the NFL would be able to hit a receiver on the chest all the time when he has two or three big guys running straight at him! Get a good O-Line and we don't need good receivers or a great QB. Any QB could hit a target if there is no-one near him and the receiver is by himself.

We know how to pick em' that's for damn sure. Death, taxes and the Oakland Raiders drafting the WRONG guy..............I've been saying it for years.
We couldn't have picked a WORSE year to draft a QB, I swear to god. Why couldn't we draft one in 2004 when Manning, Rivers and Roethlisberger were all there? Why couldn't we take Rodgers with the 23rd pick in 2005? Why couldn't we draft Cutler in 2006? Then we get the #1 overall pick in 2007 and finally draft a QB who just so happened to have the highest bust potential of any QB in recent memory. Then a year later, wonder rookies like Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco come out. I'm telling you, we're ALWAYS in the wrong place at the wrong time, it NEVER f*cking ends with this team. Now we're stuck with a money draining bust of a QB who has ZERO motivation, ZERO accuracy and ZERO brains................fantastic.

send this kid to night school.
send him to train in some foreign country where he gets locked in a barn and has to read and know right plays, otherwise a log will come swinging by and smash him in the chest.

Some of you guys don't understand the game of football
4 sacks given up in under 14:45 time of possession.
Would've been a lot more had he not thrown the ball out of bounds or scramble for his life.
Figure that one out, it isn't hard.

Russell will end up being a better QB than all of them.
BTW Rodgers didn't do squat till his 4th year in the league and Rivers didn't do squat till his 3rd year in the league.

i am worried Jamarcus will be like Vick, except bigger and slower. Vick had a hell-of an arm. but he threw passes that receivers could not catch. look at how the receivers in atlanta are doing now. anytime Russell does manage to hit his receivers a lot of them seem to drop them or be unable to catch them. the rest of his passes are overthrows and underthrows.
bad accuracy + bad touch = awful quarterback
(i sure hope this is not russell)

I could be a Russell appologist if he showed some sign of interest in winning. By the way, I want my QB to throw the ball away on 3rd down because I like punting!!! You can't make a play if you don't try to make a play. Also lets not forget that the stalworth draft machine that is the Raiders did pick this guy as a first round draft pick. This is the same team that drafted such standouts as Charles Woodson and Ricky Dudley. Wait I might get some Woodson appologists showing up now too... damn!

What's there to understand this sh*t aint rocket science. You keep holding out for JaMarcus to become an all-pro. Make excuses for him. You act as if he is the first guy ever to see pressure. Especially just for you - his passer rating a whopping 19. And yea, Green should really be a back-up and Harris needs to go flip hamburgers nobody is making excuses for them. Jamarcus is failing as a QB. Add whatever you want but quote what I say correctly and have your facts right.

That's what happens when a QB is under pressure all day.
Who here thinks Russell got adequate time today to throw the ball?
"Only" 4 sacks in 14:45!

I don't see much bashing of Kwame and Cornell Green here compared to Russell.
Apparently russell is a bust till he throws for 300 yards and 5 TDs in a game.
This nonsense has been going on all season, even after the Jets game people are talking **** about him.
Like I said I'll defend Russell if he's going to get sacked 4 times in 14:45.

does not mean that it is acceptable to be putting the ball on the ground when trying to throw or pump fake and not being touched by a defender.
