The Bengals have drafted low character guys thus being America's New Penitentary Team taking over from the 90's Cowboys. The Lions have draft 1st round WR every year without addressing other matters. Not sure but the last time I looked the Raiders were in the playoff hunt 2000, 2001 and 2002. This was done with veteran talent and maxing the cap out and leaving a lot of dead money on the books. Most of the money has been cleared out thus spending a ton of money this year on FA talent. Drafting has been a problem and the buck has to stop at Al but some of the draft picks like Gallery were no miss prospects that someone else would have drafted at that spot were they picking there. No doubt Al needs to bring in some better evaluators and scouts and himself put some trust in the people he hires. This writer is a hack that is taking shots at one of the greatest owners in the history of the NFL. Al needs to smack this moron upside the head with his walker.
