One word: Knees.

Newberry is a proven quality NFL center. He can still play at a high level, as he demonstrated last season for the Silver and Black, but his knees prevent him from playing full-time. Therefore he makes an excellent back-up, a part-time player, to a younger Pro Bowl center.

theres nothing mi hate more than charger fans...every board i go to they will post numbers starting from 03-present...they dont want to go back to 00 when they were last selecting the TOP RB and QB similiar to what we've done.

Ok so according to this dimwit replacing Grove with her son was the reason our line gave up 30 less sacks. It had nothing to do with bringing in one of the best O-line coaches in the NFL. It is also her contention that Davis loves Grove so he wanted to get rid of Newberry and yet he made Kiffin sign Wade. If he loves Grove so much why would he have made Kiffin sign another starting C?

Either this is a twit Dolt fan impersonating Newb's mom or his mom doesn't know jack and is just flappin her mouth.
