After a quick conversation with Black Widow, I decided to bring this thread back from the dead for one more update before REAL football smack talk/news/games start backup.
I just stopped by the CBS voting site to see who the AFC winning "mascot" was, since I stopped looking once we were DQ'ed.
It was a matchup between Poe (Ravens) & Chief Zee (Skins), with Poe the "winner".
I say "winner" since the powers that be posted this little bit of info.

As such, we pinpointed when this occurred after doing some research and have made a decision to use the voting percentages prior to the automation of votes. As such, we concluded that Poe won based on the percentages displayed below. Congratulations on winning this year's contest. "
So whilst the Raiders/Jags get DQ'ed earlier in the competition for exactly the same thing, the Ravens/Skins are allowed to have their votes scrutinized and reset to pre-cheating levels.
A pretty fitting end with our RaiderFans being screwed over by bad decisions from the refs, just like so many RaiderTeams in the past
