The Falcons suck! Who cares anyway. They will stink again. They are irrelevant etc.

Yeah -- I know. Aint that the pot calling the kettle black. At least:
1. We have a far more intriguing prospect at QB
2. Far better options on off. surrounding him, especially our 1st rounder...
3. A D with far better components...
4. And maybe, just maybe, a light at the end of the tunnel...

You Falcons fans are just embarking on this journey of horridness...

Have fun.

Woof-woof.

1. I beg to differ, he has the skills, but Ryan is the NFL QB between the 2.
2. Roddy White is a lot better then Javon Walker. Walker was cut by the Denver Broncos, that tells you a lot. Turner was the best back in free agency, McFadden was outplayed a lot when he was at Arkansas. Laurent Robinson>Donald Curry.
3. Defensive line, you have Burgess, who can be great, but if Abraham is healthy this year, he can put up around the same numbers as him. Tommy Kelly, the virtually unknown tackle who got one of the most ridiculous contracts of all time, will atleast have a lot of money if he can't play tackle. Mike Boley played like a top 5 linebacker last year, and you guys gave 70 million dollars to a piece of toast, MeAngelo Fall. He thinks life sucked in Atlanta, he just walked into hell in terms of football teams. A bunch of clowns dressed up like it's Halloween, cheering for a team that has the worst overall record the past 2 seasons.
4. that's not light at the end of this tunnel, that's Al Davis having a stroke after he realizes how much he has overpayed for players this off season.

You want to disrespect my team and take low blows, I'll come right back at ya.

LOL That Hell is the best team I've ever became a fan of and I wouldn't trade the Raiders away for any other team in the NFL

And until the Falcons prove they can win without Michael Vick in which they proven they can't then I wouldn't be trying to criticizing someone elses team.

FalconFan33 just stop trolling and go do the dirty bird somewhere else. Russell was the better prospect of the two. Your best QB is sitting in a Federal penitentiary for dog fighting. Your coach quit on you guys halfway through the season so he could coach a college team. You guys got rid of all your good players in Vick, Crumpler, Hall, & Coleman. The Falcons have never won anything I think the team has only been in the superbowl once and they lost to the Broncos if I remember correctly. I know the Raiders have been a mess the last couple years with rebuilding after the superbowl lost, but Raider fans have more to look forward to then Falcon fans right now.

That horse-**** doesnt come to play with me...
1. That is YOUR OPINION that Ryan is the 'NFL QB'. Not FACT. Not anything that has been proven. So its a moot point...
2. AGAIN, your skewed slant that White is better than Walker. When has White EVER put up #s as many times as Walker has? And YES, I KNOW -- Walker is coming off injuries etc., so you have to take that into account. But facts are, to just say that WHITE is BETTER than Walker is dumb, uninsightful and idiotic when White does not have the body of work. Let White put up multiple 1,000+ yard seasons and then we'll talk. If I was to say that about one of my guys, you would probably come back to me with the same argument...
3. OK, you use the argument that WHITE is BETTER than Walker and dont elaborate, I mentioned the injuires of Walker and said how you can use that as a viable argument, yet you are ready to boast that ABraham can have a better year, yada, yada, yada over Burgess, when Abraham has been up and down in his 2-seasons in ATL. WTF?
You arguments have flaws, biases and at this point, if your not going to be honest in your assessments, it will be mindless drivel you will be spewing.

We can easily have a argument that looks liek this:
Well, your team sucks man...

Fck the Raiders...

Man, fk the Falcons and their ugly uniforms...

If thats what you want, fine.

'Cause that's what it looks like you want, due to the meaningless crap your posting in terms of the reality and the state of both teams.

Russell has a lot of talent around him to be successfull. A veteran WR in Walker, and assuming our medical staff did a good evaluation a healthy one. And when healthy Waler>Any WR on your roster. Added some speed with Carter and drafted two WR who can stretch the field. And Curry, if he goes back to the slot will be great there. Russell and our TE Miller seemed to have some great chemistry already. Then on top of our upgraded passing game we have the 6th best rushing attack in the NFL. We also improved that because not only do we have 1,000 yard rusher Fargas, we now have McFadden and Michael Bush.

On the Defensive side we have two of the best corners in the league, along with a actual SS that we just signed in Wilson. Our LB's we have two of the best pass coverage, and hopefully Hartwell or someone can come in and fill the other spot. The line is completly different than last year. Sapp retired, Kelly is moved inside which alot of people said is his position. Signed a few pass rushers in Kalimba Edwards and Spires.

The light seems a lot brighter for us right now...

Russell is a pass first QB who was the most accurate in the NCAA his last year. This is not Vick or Vince Young. He is more like Favre or Elway..but because he's black people go to the he's raw card.

He can make any pass and has a big arm. Matt Ryan frankly has nothing on him. Ryan has nothing on Brady Quinn. Matt Ryan "may" be a good QB..there is no doubt about Quin or Russell in my honest opinion. They have all of the skills and the big arm to boot!
First... I really like to read your posts... I agree with you a lot of the time.

I don't think this "raw" tag has anything to do with race. I think it has more to do with the fact that he came out as a junior, and missed all of training camp................ at least I hope that's it.

The more I see and hear from, and of Russell, the more excited I get for the season to start. I can't wait to see him play this year. And this is from a guy that wasn't really thrilled with taking him.

Your right, it is my opinion, not fact, but isn't that the EXACT same thing you did before I posted by saying you have more weapons, a better first round pick, so on and so forth. Your level of hypocrisy is humorous at this point. Like I said, this is my opinion, but I have facts to back it up. Last year, Walker was virtually useless, as you said with injuries. (making my point on why do you sign a guy to a 55 million dollar contract that just got cut by a losing team due to injuries). The other year Walker had with the Raiders, not one stat beat Roddy's season other then 2 touchdowns more. 82 receptions for Roddy, 69 for Walker, 1202 for Roddy, 1084 for Walker. The one great season Walker had, was when Brett Favre was throwing to him, even with Jay Cutler Walker didn't do great. Roddy White had Joey Harrington, and Byron Leftwich throwing to him, and he still made amazing strides last season. It seems like Javon Walker does a lot better with a proven QB, he did good with Favre, and alright with Cutler. I think with JaMarcus Russell throwing to him, getting a 1,000 yard season is out of the question. That is why I think, Roddy White is better, backed up with statistics and logical reasoning.

As for Abraham vs. Burgess, I never said Abraham could have a better season then Burgess (like last season), I said that IF Abraham is healthy, he can produce around the same level as Derrick Burgess, you say that Abe has been injured his 2 seasons in Atlanta, not one game was he injured last season, so your opinion is filled with false lies and things that aren't true.

My opinion has "flaws", that's really not possible, because it's an "opinion". It's what I think, and what you think. You may think my opinion is wrong, and I definetly think your opinion is wrong, but that's the way it is. I don't know why you think I'm stating "The raiders suck, Falcons rule, bla bla bla bla", because I'm not, I'm giving reasons for every thing I've stated, unlike you.

LoL all this from a team that used to do the chicken dance in the endzone. Falcons will be lucky to win 5 games this year. Russell vs Ryan if I was choosin? Russell all day all night. No sense in gettin in a pissin contest about what player is better at what position. Everyones stats will start at 0 this year so its irrelevant...just as the Falcons franchise has been since its existance. I bet you still rock your Vick jersey too. The only people 'cool' enough to wear em now are crackheads, ethiopian kids, and the poor pups at Bad Newz Kennels.

well aren't you intelligent. We did the dirty bird dance in 98-99 when we went 14-2 and made it to the Super Bowl (you guys failed to make the playoffs, nothing new there). As for me rocking out in my Vick jersey, I sold it at a local auction for 10 bucks, and bought me a Sam Baker jersey. The Mike Vick jokes got old in August, but people still whore them out like uninformed tards like yourself who know nothing. MeAngelo Fall has committed a crime before, do you want me to judge you on one whiny over payed player ?

If your franchise had done something other than chicken dancing on their way to losing a SB and then having their franchise boy locked up... there would be other stuff to talk about. That's all that really comes to mind when your thinkin Falcons. Guess they aint been much to talk about since they entered the NFL. Hell they've let more talent get away (Deion, D.Hall, Favre) than anything. I guess the franchise as a whole is the 'joke'. I should thank you though when times are tough I can always say 'At least I'm not a Falcons fan...it could be worse'. So good look to you and your INT-man/QB you just overpaid...and don't worry we'll take good care of him here when you visit Oakland. All that money guaranteed, is he being paid per INT?
