The hate is strong on this board
![]() Anyway, I am going to try and give my predictions and be as objective as possible, hopefully it won't be responded to with blind hate on either side. 1) Raiders will be better this year for sure. This will be their best season in the past 6 years. But my guess is around 8-8 or 9-7 (if everything goes well). 2) The Chargers should win the division easily, anything else will be seen as a huge disappointment. They have Super Bowl written all over them. 3) LT isn't going to fall off the map this year. Hate to break it to you guys. He just turned 29, and is already considered one of the greatest RBs of all time. He has a lot of carries over the years, but I challenge you to find him getting hit hard, cause he always finds a way to avoid the big hit (which it what really ends RB careers) 4) Chargers have talent everywhere. RB, QB, CB (2 great ones, and add another 1st rounder), OLB (2 great ones, and arguably the best in the league), WR (may be our best WR set in decades), OL, DL, S (Eric Weddle put up 50 tackles as a BACKUP), ST (Best special teammer in Osgood and arguably best punter in Scifres, Kaeding ain't bad). 5) Raiders have a great secondary (honestly, I feel you guys have the only secondary in the league that is as good (or even better) than ours). You have a great run game (will only get better with DMac). However, you don't know what you are going to get from your pass protection, your QB, or your WRs. You also need to fix that horrendous run defense. Raiders have strengths, but they still have weaknesses. The Chargers don't have any weaknesses. Overall, I feel the division will look like this... 1) Chargers 12-4 to 14-2 2) Raiders 7-9 to 9-7 3) Broncos 5-11 to 8-8 4) Chiefs 3-13 to 6-10 |

They lost their top 2 corners. They lost Donte Stallworth. Their defense just keeps getting older (Vrabel, Brusci, Harrison, Seau). Teams started to get the hang of their offense as the season went on. First 8 games, 0 under 34 points. Next 8 games, 5 under 34. 3 Playoff games 31 points, 21 points, 14 points. They will still be good or even great, but they will not be nearly as good as last year. |
