I'll give the Chargers credit.. they have proven to be the kings of the regular season but turn very queen like in the playoffs. Shoot, look at the injury that Rivers was playing with and then take a look at L.T. pouting on the sidelines with the best tickets in the whole house. |

Can someone pull the definition of homer please? So you will beat the Colts because you have been successful against them in the past but then you spin that very logic when discussing the Patriots? I find it funny that you are convinced up and down that you can beat the Patriots multiple times even though you have been owned and you make a cake walk approach regarding the Colts. The mighty Chargers go 3-0 against arguably the top two teams in the league ![]() You're funny. |

I AM suggesting that with a better O'line, better O coordinator, someone to replace a broken down Ty Law, Glenn Dorsey and a healthy LJ combined with a fairly easy schedule that the Chiefs might actually (dare I say it?) win more than the 4 games they won last year with what was a horrible team. I know as a Raider fan you wish the Chiefs would go 0-16. But wishful thinking is no substitute for reality as evidenced by all the "Raiders will at least be a wild card team" posts I saw from last year...and the year before. Not to mention all the posts I could pull up here at how the Raiders are gonna own because they have McFadden (a rookie) and J Russell (essentially a rookie). I guess that's different. |

Its pretty sad when your ONLY counter argument is to always hide behind the skirt of the past, like ALL raider fans you can't handle the here and now or the future. BTW we will continue to OWN you in the near future as well, and thanks again for admitting we OWN you guys!!!! |

"The most important game in his life??" Please. That would be the SuperBowl...not the AFCCG. As always any arguments to counter the Chargers rising tide as a dominant NFL power are just empty rhetoric. We know and acknowledge we don't have any SB wins, Rome was not built in a day, a month or a year and we are firmly on our way to having that elusive Lombardi in our hands. 2004 = surprised everybody - lost in the opening round 2005 = regressed a bit but talent was there 2006 = overconfident and lost in the opening round 2007 = progress made playoff games won to advance lasted until the AFCCG 2008 = no excuses we are a team of destiny! Short of putting it in a bargraph I can't help you or make you understand, you have your bias and that's all good and well, but inspite of the outwardly raidersitic jingoism about SB's and Playoffs the reality is cold and hard your franchise stink and will continue to stink until proven otherwise, the Chargers haven't won a SB yet and will never be considered an equal at the top until we do. That being said we are waaaaaaaaaaayyyy closer to the top of the mountain than you guys are and when the 2008 season is over I am confident I will have a new avatar to add to my profile. |

Like all young QB's, there are gonna be some serious ups and downs [hear this raider fans] unless Croyle and Russell are re-encarnations of Dan Marino in his second year I doubt very much the Chiefs schedule or the raiders schedule will help them very much. We see it year in and year out, some wet behind the ears QB is crowned the starter and they pin the hopes of a franchise on their back and with out going through a 16 game season and suddenly they are Unitas and Montana in their prime, according only to the fan base. Reality is very few if any 1st year starters make any impact on thier teams right away, the NFL learning curve is a bear and that impacts the whole roster from top to bottom. Which is where most of those teams end up at the end of the year. I expect the Chiefs and Raiders to be in the Top 10 in the NFL draft again next year and with some extreme luck maybe, just maybe one of those teams picks in the top-15 |
