They weren't better than 11-5 last year, otherwise they would've been 12 and up. Those losses were legit. As for the 6 losses this year:
1. @ New Orleans is no guarentee win, especially with Brees' first matchup vs. the guy who took his place.
2. Indianapolis is a top teams. No guarentee. If you want to say you'll beat Indy because you own them, then...
3. New England. Not a 16-0 team, but they are still upper echilon. And they own you, if you use that logic.
4. Kansas City always plays well in the divsion despite their record. A sweep of them is no guarentee.
5. @ Pittsburgh? Automatic? Yeah, right.
6. @ Tampa might be fighting for a playoff spot. And don't assume San Diego has the division or the playoffs wrapped up by this time.
Throughout this Chargers run (04-07) we have seen great play combined with inconsistency and a hint of immaturity. You guys are not automatic, not even against Oakland and Denver. Your identity is that of an incredibly talented, playmaking team that bumbles at the worst possible moment and blames everyone but the ones responsible. For this year, my gut says 11-5. That schedule has two significant stretches. 4 out of 5 on the road to end the first half of the season, with New England the lone game at home. If the Chargers assume their bumbling ways during that stretch, a late season run may not save you. The second half should be easy with 5 of 8 at home, but all three of those road games could be losses.
New England or Indianapolis with that schedule, replacing each team respetively with San Diego on their schedule, I see 13-3 with that schedule. Not the Chargers. Not yet.

Nevermind the fact that since 04 we're 3-1 against the Colts and the only time they beat us was in 04 in overtime with a dramatic comeback and we swept them last year. Fact is we can beat the patriots and a I believe a healthy chargers team wins that afc title game last year. As it was I figured we should lose without gates lt and rivers. Volek and turner played admirably but are not those all pro guys. The Chargers will win the Super Bowl this season as we are the best team and the hungriest team in the league. You WILL see NE fall to us twice this season as will the colts however many times we play them. The colts are just a terrible matchup for the Chargers and minus that week 2 game last year we usually handle the patriots. With that said the Road to the Super Bowl will run through San Diego this season.

Reality is the Chargers are GOING TO SWEEP THE FAIDERS AGAIN! The Chargers will win 12 games MINIMUM and the Raiders will be watching us on their couch for the 6th straight year. That's right AND the playoffs aren't even in the foreseeable future for the raiders especially if they don't make it this year because KC passed them up as far as having young talent. Raider fans know the faiders are destined to suck for at least several more years. Just admit it and give the chargers props for turning their organization around.

YES there has been quite a few runningbacks as far as durability and ability. Im gonna list 3 or 4 and i know there is more, Walter Payton, Jim Brown, Emmit Smith, and Barry Sanders. They all are as durable and are as good or better than LT.
LT HAS slowed down in 2006 he had 1815 rushing yards, 28 TD's, 5.2 YPC, 508 recieving yards for a 9.1 yard average, and 31 TOTAL Touchdowns.
In 2007 he had 1474 rushing yards, 15 TD's, 4.7 YPC, 475 Recieving Yards for a 7.9 Yard average, and had 18 TOTAL touchdowns.
The rest of your post is just you ranting and raving because your 2 year window has closed. All because of AJ and his firing of MARTY, and the release of DREW BREES.
LT has one more year in him MAYBE, and you will never win a superbowl with NORV TURNER and Philip Rivers. Your coach aint BILL BELICHECK or DUNGY and your QB isnt MANNING or BRADY.
Sorry DOLT you guys choked your way out of superbowl how does it feel??

Charger fans talking $hit...........................
I'm sorry, that still just cracks me up every time. You guys FINALLY start winning some games and now it's time to start acting like badasses like you've been such a storied and dominant franchise for years................LMFAO!!
Let me tell you something, you guys are right on the same level as the Cardinals, Lions, Saints and Falcons as one of THE WORST and most consistent losing franchises in the history of the NFL. But I guess that's just something you DOLT fans have come to accept huh?

Was'nt the best and most durable RB of all time standing on the sideline when his team needed him most in the playoffs?
And the rest of that post.....geez......
Maybe you should get your parents to proof read your posts before hitting the 'Submit Reply' button to save yourself and other new Charger fans further embarrassment.

Come on guy. We're arguably the best team in the whole league. Many would say the Chargers are better than the Patriots and Colts. Certainly the Chargers have the Colts number and can play with and beat the Pats. 14-2 is not wishful thinking it is what SHOULD happen to the best team in the league. I guarantee you the Chargers lose no more than 4 games this season.
