Let it be known...

I don't like the Darren McFadden pick one bit. At all! RB is and was not a need on this team. All you people who say he is a game changing player, well we better see some of that this year. No excuses. I want to see instant productivity out of this RB. And this was the pick with with Glenn Dorsey on the board? So now the pressure is really on Tommy Kelly and Terdell Sands to produce (especially against the run) with the contracts they got.

And yes lets talk about character issues. I hope the Darren McFadden don't try and pull no tuff guy sh*t out here. Because this ain't Little Rock, Arkansas. These dudes out here will kill you on Saturday and go to church on Sunday like nothing happen. He better be cool and mature quick.

Other than that, since he is a Raider now. I will root for him to be as productive as possible. As I have with Robert Gallery, Michael Huff, and all the other Raider picks. But like the rest, if they stink and aren't productive. Then I will speak on it.

Lets go Darren McFadden. Be productive and help this team...WIN!

We'll be fine. Darren is a strong talent and will definitely help our offense.

I'm focused on how we're going to stop the run this year. We still have several picks and some dead weight (Jordan, Fabs) to trade. Let's move up in the draft and pick up a DE and DT to add depth to our line.

I agree with this man. Plus there's nothing we can do about it now, but cheer McFadden on. We wouldn't have went Dorsey b/c of all the money we have tied up into DT's. We didn't feel Gholston was a better choice over McFadden. And Chris Long was off the Board. We don't trade down, so McFadden makes the best sense thinking like this.

Anyways, we need some more picks. It's almost sickening watching the draft and not seeing us do anything

I agree. Nothing against DMAC at all. The guy is a great runningback, but as for our D-line, we did NOTHING this year to improve it and it's the same crew that has been run over, around and through by 3rd string RB's for gods sake!! So we are staring at Dorsey, one of the most dominant college DT's to come along in years and we pass him up for a runningback? What?

I pray that DMAC is the next Emmitt Smith because otherwise this pick is going to make us look stupid for years to come.

I suggest you read up on Little Rock, AR a little more. Some of the scum there will shoot you down in a NY minute. Not sure where you came up with your statement.

You don't draft for need in the NFL. You draft the best available talent with the pick you have. Clearly, DMC was rated higher than Glen Dorsey!!! Al knew what he was doing when he drafted DMC...

I suggest you read up on Oakland, California and Richmond, California which are 11 miles apart and some of the night life in they bay area consists of people from both cities in the same place. Not taking anything from the nuts in Little Rock but its more cut throat out here. Look it up boss!

So because we signed Tommy Kelly and Terdell Sands to big contracts we should not have drafted Glenn Dorsey? Oh my God! Tommy Kelly and Terdell Sands doesn't have a excuse in the world then. No excuses not to produce. Like I said. If the run defense stink this year I don't want to hear no complaining from people on this board. I hope this dude Darren McFadden is the next best thing that I hear people on this board busting nuts over. Im not sold on the guy. Im not. I hope he proves me wrong. And I can't wait to see him play in a regular season game to see if he does or not. I can't wait.

This is the funniest thing I have heard, and I keep hearing it. So next year if the BPA is a runningback, we draft him? What if he is a QB? Even if we have Russell, if the BPA is a QB we draft him? What if we keep ASO and the BPA is a corner? We still draft him?

NO, your wrong. You don't just blindly pick the BPA unless you need him on your team.

I was also pulling for Dorsey with that pick, but, DMC will help JaMarcus tremendously by lining up in the backfield, in the slot or out wide...... at least it will be fun to watch on offense....

I agree to an extent poke. Even though we are stockpiled at the position, teams will be foaming to negotiate deals with us for the nextg few offseasons, so I think this pick will help our team relations put as well as give us that X factor..
