Poke-It is hard for me get excited about us drafting any defensive player in the 1st round. Considering how we have missed so much with these picks in the past I prefer to take offensive players, especially with the potential like DMac.

Also I don't think our current defensive scheme gets the most out of the players we have now and I think Dorsey would have been under-untilized.

At least with DMac with one touch he can score or at least give you a big play.

Relax guy....is it a bad thing that we have very excited fans about our pick?...calm down ....alot of raider fans believe in this guy to be the "explosive player" he is and will back up all the talk about him....Defense was in need but al davis already spent to much to not go offense in the draft .....I have better eye sight than stevie wonder by the way lol......

First of all. I just got some coochie. So Im as relaxed as they come. Second. Nobody on here is arguing. Its just a adult debate on opinions. Third. People can get excited over anything they want boss. God bless em. It could be Darren McFadden or their favorite porno star. Nothing wrong with excitment. Just like its nothing wrong with me doubting until I see results on the field in the regular season. And Im glad you have better eye sight than Steve Wonder.

And Al has been more wrong than he has been right (with draft picks) in years. Would you like to see the draft history of the Raiders? The bums out number the productive players by a land slide. Not to get into it but Richmond and Oakland are both in the US top 10 dangerous cities for 2007, #4 and #9 and I've seen police stations with bullet holes in it in San Francisco.

I'm sure Little Rock is dangerous (they're at #13) but I doubt its so bad the police force disbanded like happend in San Fran.

Plus that color sh1t is dumb you can always avoid red or blue to stay outta trouble. in the town it dont matter what color you got on.

just saying, these places aren't the same he's going to need to adjust on how to stay outta trouble. its not as simple as wearing yellow.

why did we draft mcfadden with dorsey on the board? It's simple...he plays the sam position of the highest paid DT in the history of the NFL. There was no way dorsey was going to be the pick.
