Well let me clear this up so you won't have to paraphrase in the future. I am from Richmond. Born and raised. I no longer live in Richmond because my wife and I have been blessed enough and are able to live where we live. Which is in the Lake Merrit section of Oakland. Very beautiful. But not getting into all that. It is a blessing to wake up every day period not just in Richmond. And it is very very very easy to no wake up at all any where especially in Richmond. And its some people that have no other choice but to live in Richmond or live in hell as you call it. But if you never had to live in, what you call hell, then you would never know. Put it like this. Most people in the hood aren't there because they want to be. They are there because thats the only place they can be at the present time.
So if you never in that kind of situation before, then its unfair for you to say if it is a oxymoron at all. Alot of people are there and working toward getting out. But its still a, as you call it, living hell and they have to make due until that can get out.
Think about that.
