here's a news flash, chet, I make no excuses for players. I also never predict HOF credentials for any rookie. I believe...based on insights from experts and not people who have no basis in fact...and my own observations of the player ON THE FIELD that he has a very good chance of being a very good player. I also realize that very good college players sometimes fail at the pro level. Often that failure is not because of inability, but outside factors, such as player development and scheme, that preclude him from reaching potential. This player in particular has the physical make up to be successful, now all that has to happen is for the organization, whomever drafts him, to tap into that potential

The funny thing is, fang, you come in...insult those who like his upside, and then expect us to respond with anything but utter scorn for your useless opinion.

my 18 yr old daughter don't know too much about football, bubt she sat thru 4 hours of combine footage with me while i reviewed it, and even she concluded that we needed to get thet C long guy, only cause she is really good in math, and she saw his productivity compared to those who ALSO attended the combine...

I really don't care where your driving at, but any of the top 6 thats is availible could fit into our system well.

he had 79 tackles near 20 for loss , 14 sacks, 2 ints and a bunch of PD's at a 3-4 end, sometimes speed at the combine isnt important as what he produces on the field and since when are 40 times important to linemen? burst, quickness, agility and strength are essential and from Long he seems to have most attributes to give him a bright future in the NFL

Sounds like just what the RAMS need ! We don't need Tyler Brayton II . A slow undersized DE does NOTHING to improve the WORST RUN DEFENSE in the league.
