That corp of crap makes the Raiders receiving group look so much better, thank you for that inadvertant re-evaluation. Turner was a good signing but he can't and won't do it all.

With that stable of pass catchers I will be so bold as to state that Matt Ryan is the most F***** QB from the rookie class. Miami will show Henne better protection than Atlanta will Ryan. No protection plus a shortage at the receiving positions generally equals a bad season.

Blalock looked good at times but Baker is a rookie so you might want to lower those expectations a little before thinking the blindside is set.
like I said above, I'm done with the team controversy, I'm a Falcon fan, you love the Raiders, we'll leave it at that. Roddy White is the best wide receiver we've had in a very long time, probably ever. Harry Douglas has breakaway speed and might have been our best overall choice. Horn will not be traded, and can compete with former first round choice Mike Jenkins for the 3rd spot. Baker was a top 5 choice before he got injured, some had him ranked over Jake Long, I'm confident he can fit in with another monster, Justin Blalock.

Sorry this all got out of hand a little bit, but who doesn't get offended when their team is getting attacked
Hey man, I'll be the first one to say if you make it out to the game, I'll share a beer and some friendly **** talk as well.

But for the record, the Houston>Hall comments were a little on the desperate side..

Oh, and in case you were wondering, Todd Watkins lit it up at OTA's...He may have a chance makin the roster..

Good luck on the rebuild, and on your season, except Week 9, of course..

lol, same as you. I remember recently over at the Falcons board, the question was "if you could take one player from any team, who would it be", and I said "Aso, hands down". McFadden reminds me a lot of Peterson, If Hall can shut up, he's still young, and CAN be good. You guys have potential, that's why I can't wait until week 9 ;)

That goes for you guys too eh? POTENTIAL to be a SB team?? What ends up happening every year since 2004? LT crying, Rivers whining, using injuries as excuses for not beating the Pats, Marty, etc. etc. Keep choking SD.

Lets keep it real here

Since 2002 I haven't seen potential from the Raiders because our roster was filled with guys like Grant Irons, Alvis Whitted, DeLawrence Grant, Tyler Brayton, Derrick Gibson. You see after the 2003 season is when we should have threw all the dead weight away and started to rebuild but Al Davis doesn't know the word rebuild.

I'm known to keep it real about my own team and I have no problem telling the truth about them and honestly the Raiders are like a baby thats just starting to learn how to walk from 2007 to the years ahead of us cause the fact of the matter is that 2003 to 2006 was a total waste of time and we didn't achieve anything to help us to this point.

The Chargers started to make their rise around 2004 I believe and have faced some weak Raider teams in that time period and until the Raiders show that they can compete with the best the NFL has to offer then things may not change anytime soon but we do have some young and interesting talent now so its something to build on.

BH, I normally agree with you on most stuff. But to say 03 - 06 was a complete waste of time is, well wrong in respects to what comprises the present and future of the Raiders.

1. Drafting and developing Nnamdi Asomugha (03)
2. Drafting and developing Kirk Morrisson (05) and Thomas Howard (06)
3. Drafting and developing Michael Huff (06)
4. Kelly working under a great 3-tech mentor in Sapp (03-07)

These guys are all crucial pieces to our success in 08 and into the future...
