I'm not a huge fan of McFadden and certainly not in his fan club. I would, however, welcome him to the Nation if he was drafted #4 overall.
What I'm not a fan of is threads like this that make little-to-no sense. How are you gonna make a thread like this comparing Payton to someone who hasn't touched NFL turf yet. Hilarious.

It's like people just post whatever's on their mind, no thought process behind it, just to get their post count up or some totally awesome reputation points! Alright! Keep it up guys, love reading these threads. So Noobstur, you sound like a draft guru bro, who would you draft at #4 overall?

Barry Sanders was the best ever IMO. Did more with less around him than anyone else and was the most exciting player of his era. As an added bonus he was one of most humble guys in the NFL. Somebody that people like D. Hall could take a lesson from.

I've gone on record repeatedly that I would have no problem drafting McFadden, but he is 4th on my list: 1. Chris Long 2. Jake Long 3. Vernon Gholston 4. Darren McFadden 5. Ryan Clady 6. Glen Dorsey Most of the critics if you will, are just tired of the McFadden fan club diatribe.

Only of his era!?? I'm beginning to believe we'll never see another player as exciting to watch as Barry Sanders was. Barry Sanders will forever be my favorite running back. BUT, since when does having confidence and even ****iness in your abilities make you a bad person? |
