Quentin Jammer, I actually think he is just as good as (if not better than) Cromartie. But how he does on the field in 2008 is if he executes on the field, same thing applies to Asomugha & every other CB in the NFL. Talent alone isn't enough, execution is a part of it as well.

Without a doubt. Having only 28 passes attempted in your direction all year is absolutely mind-blowing in this day and age.

Now you are just making a fool out of yourself,

That was a nice pick....the one Aso had against Palmer and Chad Johnson in 06 was good too though.

We have a corner who can shut down one side of the field (you're right QBs won't throw to him) and you say we're going to have a long season cuz we got Jammer on the other side?

Oh, I get it. By long season you meant deep into the playoffs, like this past season. Right on bro!

What really counts a long season or a superbowl win. Your season was just like ours sitting at home watching the Giants win it all. One thing matters and that is it winning the Superbowl. Playoffs dont mean nothing unless you make it and win the big game. Note Patriots season.

Only you Dolt fans would get excited after losing to N.E. for the second year in a row in the playoffs. Hell, Indy learned and beat N.E. last year, and the Giants parlayed their experience from the regular season and turned it into a victory in the Super Bowl.

Chargeless is now what 0-the century in getting it done at what actually counts.

I know you don't believe this. If the Raiders had made it all the way to the Championship Game, beating the Colts in Indy on the way, you wouldn't consider your season a failure. Come on.

Yes I would, Its all about that game to win not to barely make it . Winning it ,all others are failures for that very reason believe it or not.

Its like saying Sears is better than Wal Mart, I think this is just semantics Aso aparently had a sub-par 07 then again so did the entire raider defense, I already knew the raider D was a sham in 06, the proof will be in Aso's 08 performace and Cromartie's 08 performance as well. Are they ascending players? will they continue to get the INT's?

Cro plays on a SB contending team, unfortunately Aso playes on the worst franchise in the NFL and most likely will get less National recognition, the riaders will be 2-14, 4-12, 5-11 or 6-10 and you guys may get a couple of players recognized for the pro-bowl, it may or it may not be Aso, it all depends on who is injured who had an equal season but on a legitimate Sb contending team.

Cro needs to step it up just a smidge to be considered the best DB in the NFL why, he oozes Deion Sanders like talent on one fully reconstructed knee and after only playing 2 games as a starter his entire career at FSU and entering the draft as a Jr and having not played the 14 to 18 month previous, for a DB that's a looooooong layoff. His learning curve had been nothing short of incredible.

Aso played at Cal his Sr. year and was a frequent member of Toast Patterson's weekly I just got mine handed to me club for at least the first 3 years in the league. Cro was the type of player Al used to draft and then would be praised as a talent evaluator for. The fact are AJ Smith is a HUGE talent evaluating beast and as long at he's around he will keep the Chargers in contention for a SB title year in and year out.
