Give Al Davis the Pacman treatment?

Nothing to argue or discuss, just some FYI....

Its a Patriots article, but he brings up 2 points in regards to the Raiders.

In particular, says the "tuck rule" is not reason enough to hate the Patriots(clearly, he is not a Raiders fan). Oh how I beg to differ. That is the sole reason I hate Tom Brady and the Pats.(ps-I'd probably forgive brady if he admits he fumbled and wasnt throwing...never gonna happen).

So I ask: Do you hate the Patriots?

Also, he takes a shot at Al Davis at the end, saying Goodell should step in and ban him. After all Al has done, he deserves a chance to prove himself, however even the media can see his decline has gotten worse the past few years and this whole kiffin mess could be the end for a lot of fans.

While I don't think a ban is necessary, I do think if things continue to sink lower and lower something should be done. To what extent, I'm not sure. But to consistently dismantle and try to replace HCs does nothing for this organization or bode well for the collective bargaining agreement. And once our poor record and coaching carousel starts negatively impacting the entire NFL, believe me Goodell and others will try to jump in.

Usually agree with Whitlock, especially when it comes to my two other teams the Royals and Jayhawks, but honestly big boy, was the pot-shot at Al really necessary?????

I don't hate the patriots. Really, hate is something I save for our division rivals. Other than that, I could give a **** about the other teams in the league. Though I admit I enjoy watching the Steelers lose to anyone.

And is the league suddenly going to remove the management of every "bad" team now? Come on. There is very little that the league could use as evidence of clear mismanagement.

BTW I am Jacks' medulla oblongata...

Al is an owner not a player. He has not been arrested at any Strip Club shootings that I am aware of. Some people just need to STFU. On another note F the Pats. Go Giants.

Blah, blah, blah.

Who cares?

I don't hate the Patriots.....I think it's pretty stupid to hate a GOOD team based upon a ruling by the officials.

Also, who hasn't taken a shot at Al Davis? The guy is a mere fraction of what he used to be and has seemingly made the organization into a joke.

Blah, blah, blah.

Later.

The End?

Not for this fan. NEVER!

Thick or thin.

But right now, its been pretty ****in' thin...

The tuck rule meant more to me than death knell of the Raiders SB bid, it meant the Republican fix was in.

Anyone ever see the X-files episode where the "Smoking man" tries to quit and write a novel?

At a borad meeting he mentions how they fixed the "Miracle on Ice" by haing someone pat the russian goalie on the shoulder with a ring that had a tiny pin that delivered juuust enough tranqu to make him a split second slow.

"Ooh the X-files put down the remote!"

You think thats something, check out the "PILOT" episode of The Lone Gun men exposing a Government plot to crash a passenger jet into the World Trade Center to kick start the Military machine. 6 MONTHS before it happened...scenario 12-D

Brady and the Pats will never be considered "the greatest team ever!"

Not by me...

A bad call.....and you totally disregard that they're a good team? That's pretty funny, but coming from someone that apparantly mixes the X-Files fantasy world with reality, I guess we should expect nothing less.

C'mon people. The "fix" is not in. Lets not forget that the "tuck" rule did not beat the Raiders in Foxboro, the New England Patriots did. The Raiders still allowed Brady to execute a game winning drive. They're professional athletes and shoud NOT have let a little misrepresentation of the rules get them down and discourage them from wanting to play.

Just my two lincolns.

I agree that the Raiders could have, and should have still won that game. But... that call did decide that game. If it was called a fumble, like the entire free world knows it was... the game was over.

I used to rail against the conspiracy theorists too, but... I'm not so sure about it anymore. Way too many calls that go against the Raiders at critical points in a game, and way too many off the wall, obscure rulings that are used against the Raiders, and no one else. Its kind of hard to look past it, after the consistency with which this crap occurs.
