It's obvious L.T. ducked this game folks

How could this douchebag claim himself 90% ready all week long then throw in the towel after 2 carries? As much as I hate that team, I gotta tip my hat to Phillip Rivers and Antonio Gates for actually giving a sh!t today. Rivers played literally on one leg and gutted it out.

Its quite obvious he ducked it today folks.

You know if he wasn't such a primadona I probably wouldn't lay into him as much if at all. Hell, I know he's kicked our ass for as long as I can remember, and he's a great running back and what not. But when I think of L.T., I can't help but think of him giving whiny post game interviews, bitching at his QB throughout the season, scowling on the sidline, crying, pouting, calling spygate, etc, etc. Then today, during easily the biggest game of his career, he simply mucked his cards. And in that same game, the QB he bitched at numerous times throughout the season, was playing his guts out and having a halfway decent game against the Pats D.

LOL...now that piece of sh!t can sulk in the offseason knowing he Tucked his tail between his legs and abandoned his teamates in easily the closest opportunity he'll ever get to seeing the Superbowl (unless he goes the Jr. Seau route)

His initials are definitely L.T., but now it can stand for, LAME TEAMMATE!

Boy, I have to somewhat agree. What bothered me is the statement from LT on how freaked out he was when he was hurt. This week he said, "i make my living on my feet and how quick i am and having them taken away from me has never happened before."

I really respected the UTAH Jazz during their glory years because they NEVER talked about injuries. Karl Malone said, if you can go on the field, just shut up and play and dont make excuses. Gates was also really injured. LT was a disappointment.

I heard that too. At least he could do is be in the game as a decoy. That is what the broncos did when terrell davis had a migraine. I don't like Rivers, but he showed up and played, same with gates. Can't believe LT.

I lost a lot of respect for LaBabyian after they lost to NE last year. He is a cry baby and I dont think he showed much heart. He was just sitting there with his helmet on looking all sad. Could you see Walter Payton sitting on the sidelines one game away from the Super Bowl?

I can bring up so many bloody injuries to big time sports stars in big games or series.

A lot of those injuries made them go from superstars to legends in terms of what they had to put themselves through in order to achieve the ultimate goal which is a championship for that said sport.

Steve Yzerman for the Red Wings ( For those that follow Hockey ) played basically on one leg the entire postseason when they won the Cup on of the years they did.

How about Emmit Smith playing through his hamstring injury?

The list goes on.

Was it painful for LT? No doubt about it, and was he able to play at 100%? Definately not.

But if you are the supposed "Best Back in Football and possibly the Best Back of ALL TIME " or at least projected to possibly be, then even at 75% you are still contributing to the success of your team.

I have played through pulled groins in Ice Hockey which is painful as ****, and did it simply to help out a team with my buddies on it in which all we achieved is the championship trophy. No money, but just satisfaction. Took about 2 months to heal after the season was done.

For LT to have been put in the game in the first place, the injury could not have been career threatening enough or there is no way he would have even suited up.

My .02

I do have to give Rivers props, though. He had a torn ligament and still got in there. I have a little bit of respect for him ( not much ) now and LaBabyian should have done the same. He didnt want it as bad has NE.

I didn't watch the game but looking at the highlights it makes me laugh. I guess he thought they were going to win that game. media keeps on talking about blah blah blah all time best back blah blah. When the time comes who won there last game San Diego's there back ups. Next day i hear things like wow they got depth even without Ladainian. no one said wow chargers are winning without Ladainian( That I Know of).

As a Detroit Pistons fan I'll always remember that first finals that they made it to in the 80s and lost to the Lakers. Isaiah Thomas was basically on one wheel the whole series and ended up setting a scoring record for one quarter. The guy was having electricity sent through his leg before games to cause so much pain that when they turned it off the pain he was in from his injury didn't seem so bad.

That's heart and a desire to win. If you are a competitor you find a way.
