http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports...s18nflcol.html
Even SD writers are calling him out on that one... Can't wait for those punks to come to the black hole... |

Agreed, the guy is a coin flip from 47yrds+. A FG should not be attempted from anywhere outside of the 30yrd line, Hell I say the 25yrd line. And I don't give a F about him kicking 55+FG'z in pregame practice either, he obviously can't make em in the clutch........sad but true!!!

that may or may not be the case, but he sure knows how to coach when it comes to playing the Raiders! may-be Al should pay him 200k and this nonsense would end! LOL

He informed the referee he was going called a timeout before the snap. Sorry, but how is that illegal in any way or form? You can't tell me Oakland or San Diego have never done that. Shanahan was just smart enough to do it right before the snap.

The kick hit the TOP of the post - problem wasn't the distance, it was the direction - that kick would have gone 70 yds...

Your right, the Raider players should know by now that the refs will always screw them in the end if given a chance, Shannrat was being smart by icing with Jano's inconsistencies of late, the Refs blowing the whistle late was what ticked me off. Once the kick was missed, the defense should of went out there and took the game back, they should of took all the anger they were feeling and took it up on Donks on the field instead of just folding.

i don't fault the defense, they were on the field a lot. they also scored a touchdown and a safety. so it was the defense who kept us in the game. add the fact they played the whole game plus overtime in the thin mountain air, they more than did their job. if you want to blame anyone for the loss, blame the offense, minus lamont jordan. i don't even blame jano. how many other kickers can nail 50+ yard field goals on a regular basis?
