Man I will tell you what, your preseason tv announcers were absolutely lousy the other night. I couldnt even hardly listen to the half they called...George Atkinson sounds like he is drunk all the time. Plunkett and Napear are absolute homers. I watched your first preseason game and the opposing RB broke like a 25 yd run and all they talked about how great the tackling was when they finally caught up with him.
Seems you guys cant get things together on or off the field. Which includes Russell still sitting at home home hoping he is traded to another team. I feel for you guys, seriously embarrassing. "Well it is the Raiders" seems to be the new catch phrase around the NFL. lol There is an entire thread on our boards about it. http://forums.49ers.com/messageboard...ad.php?t=31304 |

I'm a Raiders fan and I agree. Our preseason TV guys are pretty tough to listen too, but I think thats the vibe I've gotten from almost all of the preseason tv guys. Start the regular season already!!!

Enjoy your "little pre-season" win Whiner boy.
To state that George A. has homer-syndrome (something you bafoons did) is completely inaccurate and absurd. Perhaps you were not listening to the entire game... As another poster stated, who the hell is Quintin "Jordan" ? Did the foolish announcers mean Moses, the kid from Georgia? How about the fact that they made the foolish mistake of thinking that Jeremy Newberry started the game. Go back to listening to that Niner loving station known as KNBR. Furthermore, while your at it, why don't you purchase yourself a NOSE TACKLE that will make that 34 SCHEME actually successful. From the look of things, whether you WANT to admit it or not, your ability to get to the playoffs lies on the fact that you need to get a lot better defensively. Without that PLUGGER in the middle, what is the purpose of running a 34. You don't have the pass rushing LINEBACKERS outside that will create pressure. Don't you have a wine festival to attend?

George is cool. He commented on different occasions how we needed to sure up the run, that the flats needed to be cover and such. Whiners are much, much worse in terms of homerism.. Then again, considering that they play in SF, I ain't surprised.

His post is typical of the type of the general attitude of Whiner fans.

Regarding our NT situtation. We have possibly 3 maybe 4 DL that could start at NT on many other teams. Our starter A. Franklin is a beast and will be back for the start of the season. Sopoaga (who I believe you are referring to) is a quality backup. He has been a project over the past couple of years but is now developing into a quality backup. I would also throw in Ronnie Fields and Bryant Young. Fields because he started the last part of last year and really became a force. And Young because has been the heart of our team and DL for the past 12 years and has anchored the DT on good and bad teams for us. As far as our LBs. Many have predicted that they may be the most improved part of our team. Especially with the drafting of Patrick Willis this year who Mike Singletary says could be the best he has ever seen at such a young age, and Manny Lawson who has the height, speed and agility to be another Julian Peterson, last year. Tully Banta-Cain will be a pass rush force, that you can guarantee. Sure we have a missed tackles issue that we are working out right now, but that is something that be coached and fixed. The good part is that the players are there at the point of attack, which indicates the scheme is working. You can try to slam us with personal attacks, but when that is all you can fire back at us Niner fans, then that shows our team is improving and will be contenders again. Your team on the other hand drafted a rookie who doesnt even like the Raiders, and probably wont sign until sometime during the season. I guess I could come back with some of my own personal attacks, but watching a Raiders game in the Colliseum is like shaving my dogs ass, painting it black and silver and making him walk backwards, so you guys do it to yourselves. haha. Also FYI I do not live in SF so all your gay references mean nothing to me. Your team is the laughing stock of the league and your owner is an old, decrepid invalid who cant make out the difference between 32 and 42, which why he hired a coach who is still popping pimples on the sideline and going to the hospital for his booster shots. Anything else? |
