If you look it I am comparing one preseason game to another preseason game. That said, Rivers as well as most of the players should be better then they were at this point last year but they are significantly worse...

As much as I want the chargers to go down by any means necessary, I think they have enough talent to overcome their coach's defficiencies.(spelling??)

Deficiencies as a fiery leader, yes maybe. The theory is the players will find that intesity and leadership among the leaders on the field. Norv will provide a dimension on offense that Cam Cameron was not capable of.

One thing Marty was able to do was fire the team up in the second half. Remember those come-from-behind victories last season? Yes, a lot of that might have been Marty pumping up the troops at half time. For the most part, the Chargers were a strong second-half team last season.
