Remove Al Davis?
Does anyone have any idea on the process to remove Al Davis from the head position of da Raiders? It was time 5 years ago and it is still time now for him to step down. The Russell issue has Al's ego all over it!!
Move along Al...thanks for the 70s and 80s...but you are a disgrace at this point.

While I'm no Al Davis apologist the hold up isn't Davis' ego, it's Russell having greedy agents and Davis for all his faults isn't going to be held hostage by a bunch of yahoos...

Davis should step down not because he's a disgrace, rather because this is a young mans game and it's impossible to run the entire show as he used to... Davis is correct on this contract negotiation with Metz and company, they've rejected offers that by and large are more than fair.

If you want an owner who caves in because a rookie and his agents want to make more money than proven all-pro, super bowl caliber QB's then Davis is clearly not your guy!

Russell and his agents can go f**k themselves for all I care...

Wow, Im not a Al Davis apologist but I wouldn't go as far as calling him a disgrace. Believe it or not he has done a whole hell of a lot for the NFL in general. You just opened yourself up for some serious debate. Have at it.

Hahahaha agreed. Time for this old fossil to step-down. hehehehe. However, I agree with AL Davis on J Russell's contract. Raiders must do what is best for the Raiders, not what is best for rookie unproven JaMarcus Russell. My hat is off to Mr Davis for standing firm..I trust Al not to cave in to any ridiculous demands from those greedy agents.
