3 superbowl titles

everyone (at least in the nfl world) knows that the raiders have 3 titles. i respect that.

why is it that, per person, you guys seem to brag about your 3 titles more than other message board members of other teams who've won more Superbowls than you guys did?

Where do you get this information? That's funny how you form a perspective as a fan of a team that has lived it's life as one of the NFL's doormats. You've been able to string together some regular season wins but no playoff W's. Why? Anybody's guess, but the Raiders, when winning, usually make enough noise to get into the Divisional round or Conference championship. It has been a bad 4 years, but we were in the superbowl 5 years ago. We'll be back sooner than later. You can count on that. I'm proud of our 3 SB victories as is any Raider fan. If we throw that in your face it's just a reminder to habitual losing franchise's fans that we have a history of winning and we won't be down long.

So far, all we've heard you brag about is that the dolts were 14-2 (Last Season) and that the dolts had the highest scoring offense (last Season) But then you've stated that the "past doesn't cut it."
So what's your point, that you are so diligently trying try to make.

Probably because the Chargers aren't in the NFC? You are arguing with your divisional rivals for **** sake! Of course we're going to toss our historical habit for success in your face when you have none...

Pride.

Who cares who won more. It's been done. And multiple times. And this did not start four years ago. At the beginning of this decade, fans were bragging too.

You are right, Raiders fans talk about it (good or bad) more than any other frnachise. but consider the Raiders fanbase and consider who the owner is. Every Al Davis speech is about te Raiders' accomplishments. he is a proud guy, we are a proud group and regardless of what our team is doing now, we love to relive our past to remind us that we are never down for long.

I don't trophy polish more than reminding others ^ what they haven't done.

So to your question, why do we talk about our franchise's success in winning: Because we can.

My question is, why are Chargers fans so up in arms when we do mention what the Raiders body of work is. It applies to some of the discussions at hand. Some. Because after all, you did say that the Raiders do it the most, meaning others do it as well. So what could it be?
