Rugby report

heh all, just giving some info on the footy i played yeterday,

i woke up early 4:30am to travel to Sydney, and arrived at 9:00am

BTW we had 3 trial games before to get us ready for the up coming season, ( sort of like preseason but only 3 games and the regular season for our comp is called ISA

anyways we won our first real game 26-0

i ended up with around 12 tackles/non missed

3 hit ups

5 turnovers

and two try assists ( didnt score that game but will try next time, passig is just as important)


we ran through them with wreckless abandon


that was my day, pretty fun but the travel kills ya

Congrats Bro.

I wish that I had grown up somewhere that Rugby was played. In NE Montana there is football and nothing else. Rugby's a great sport to watch live and I would love to be able to play.

thx bro, its a very involved game, forwards have to be in rucks and muals which were all the bruises and scars happen, its when the ball carrier gets tackled and you have to "clean out" opposing threats trying to turn the ball over

my position is Break away or flanker, which is he guy that hangs off the side of the scrum and breaks off as fast as he can to get to the 5-8 or fly half

my pos is kind of like a defensive end rushing to the quarter back which in this case the QB is either the half back(guy that gets the ball first) or the 5-8 which is the break aways duty to always shut down
