Please keep all Signatures under 500 pixels in width and 200 pixels in height, No more than 20kb in file size.

Images & Text: Members are prohibited from posting any images, links, or posts that contain sexual content, graphic or disturbing content, racial hatred, profanity, gambling or wagering for monetary gain, any content that should not be viewed by children, discussions about illegally pirated NFL audio or video for sale or trade, or any other inappropriate or illegal content. This also includes posting or attaching copyrighted images in the forums. In regards to images, please use EITHER images you've taken yourself or all Raiderfans.net Staff Images in your sigs... Why you ask, it's simple, this way we avoid any 'copyright infringement' issues!

What images can I use for my signature and avatars?
If they are RAIDER related, you can only use the following:

a) Images that were taken from Raiderfans.net Photographers
(http://www.raiderfans.net/forum/gallery)

b) Images that YOU personally shot with YOUR camera...

To dig a little deeper about copyright infringement issues, lets look at WHY you CANNOT use images from RAIDERS.com for example:

Isn't there something in place to warn the user that the sig is too big, much like the information warning we get when we try to post a regular picture that's too big or like the one we get when our avatar needs to be resized?

No... At this time, there is no way to implement that. The only warning we give is via PM...

But isnt it SOME quotes are also copyrighted? For example.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas - - I just learned this last night.

So could it be possible that we are using quotes that are copyrighted?

Also can you please be specific about what pictures in the Gallery because some in there are copyrighted? I suppose? not sure though.

Thanx, is it possible I can have a sig that doesn't have anything Raiders in it, such as a Nas sig?

I wonder if the quotes from speeches (in my sig) are copyrighted???

do i need to remove the slogan "commitment to excellence" from my sig?
