Im asking for a huge Favor. I just got Photoshop, can some-one guide me step by step in how they made there/ or some-one elses sig. That way i will have the idea of how to make my own....I AM TOTALLY CLUELESS AS HOW TO USE PHOTOSHOP!
Your problem is that you're wanting to make an intermediate to advanced sig before learning the basics. And THAT is truely the wrong way. Before you venture out to make detailed sig, I would STRONGLY suggest that you start small and make them simple seeing as you have no real idea of what you're doing graphics-wise.
To get an understanding on what button or function does what within Photoshop CLICK HERE and scroll down about 1/4 of the page and it will show you what each button and function means.
Here is a simple tutorial to get you familiar with PS's functions: CLICK HERE
Cutout Images Using The Pen Tool:
In this tutorial, the author shows you how to PROPERLY and CLEANLY cut out images using Photoshop's "Pen Tool." This is perhaps one of the most crucial skills to master in Photoshop! This is a step-by-step tutorial geared towards beginners.
Once you've learned the cutout technique, you're ready for creating a background for your cutouts to go in front of.
Blurry Sig Effect Tutorial
It's a little more difficult, but definately not impossible.
Electrified Field Background Sig
This will show you how to tweak your background from the boring to the interesting. Also, this tutorial is good because all you do is copy the exact settings the author has.
Another Basic Abstract Sig Tutorial
And remember, TAKE SMALL STEPS!!! Afterall, it seems as if you are trying to be a great sig designer overnight, and it just doesn't happen that way. Keep in mind, institutions charge to teach Photoshop and other advanced graphics programs. Many times, one can walk away with a degree based on these lessons because programs like Photoshop, Poser, Maya, Bryce, CorelDraw, and others like them are used professionally and they have WAY more uses than just to make sigs with. Which is why I always recommend users try Paint Shop Pro or The Gimp for something just to make sigs with. Using Photoshop ONLY for making sigs is like using C4 explosives to kill a ****roach when an old shoe will do the same job.
