this is probably why suh and agents decided to skip out,the raiders are tight now on cap with 13 million only plus some free agent signings aren't accounted for yet either !!!

Lynch's salary has been updated.....
Whitehead got a 3 year 18.....so first year account for 5-6 million....
Keith Smith got 2 years 4.2 million
Estimate 8 million for those 2, without counting Lee Smith, Shareece Wright, Wilber, Martin.....
Pretty much up against the cap at this point. Not sure where you find money for Bowman.
No doubt.....I mean, Suh....what you want 15 million....okay cut Irvin and Cook.....bam....Walford just moves up the chart and Edwards kicks to the outside where Irvin was. Suh rolls right in next to Jelly. Easy. Me and you can man the LB spots with Suh in front of us taking triples.
rams after all contracts are at roughly 19 million under the cap with donald deal coming up
saints at 13 million
titans have 47 million and can still cut another 15 million if needed
agent looks at who's got what left to sign free agents then sits down with player whom tells agent whom he wants to play with and whom he wont play with, they then go on a tour and try to work a deal for the most cash or ops plus cash rams and titans both playoff bound with strong defense, saints least amount of money but have a super bowl coach,qb and a great offense and defense
Donald counting 6.8, probably will eat a nice chunk out of the cap space. 5-100, 20 million signing bonus...then again maybe not if the Rams decides to give him a nice fat signing bonus to prorate over 5 years. At 20 million, he gets the cash right away, but on the cap it counts 4 million......then say a 2 million first year salary.....leaves the Rams with the same 19 million in cap space.
The Raiders are not a very enticing team for free agents like Suh right now, and this has less to do with the front office, the coaching staff, or the salary cap. These guys don't want to uproot their families and move them to a different part of the country, and again in 2 more years.
