    Browns/Bengals agree to McCarron trade

But the Browns do not file paperwork with the NFL office to get it done. AJ Mccarron to Hue Jackson for a 2nd round and 3rd round pick. You can't make this stuff up. Supposedly proper channels would have been the Browns GM e-mailing the Bengals GM or vice versa, but it seems clerical staff on the Browns side sent the e-mail to the Bengals, but since it did not say Browns GM...it was disregarded as not urgent.

Then comes up another part is that coaching, GM and front office are not all on the same page, so whoever the Bengals talked to, seems did not have the authority to approve trades? Hue Jackson? Thus there was no e-mail from the Browns GM....???

Didn't read anything about Hue Jackson being a part of the botched timing but it would be interesting if he was.

My guess is that Hue loves McCarron, pushed for it, but the GM was not too enthused about it.....thus "the dropped ball" from the higher up....a 2nd and a 3rd...that's a crazy price to pay for a QB.....Niners got Jimmy G for a 2nd.
