Thread: Raiders Open as Underdogs vs Steelers

It's funny reading how some are getting their hopes up because the Steelers offense isn't doing much.

You all have forgotten the RAIDER way already?

Unless things have changed the RAIDER way for many years now is to make the bad teams look good. Bad Offenses? Bad Defenses? We make them shine. And let's not forget when a backup opposing QB is in, we turn him into a legend.

yeah, I agree! Watt and Hightower will be wrecking crew, while Pickett will look like the second coming Brady. Game has disaster written all over it.

This is true until proven otherwise.

We have not lost at home to Pittsburgh since 1995. That's also true until proven otherwise.

Maybe I'm crazy but I think this is a get right game. We have had good success against Pittsburgh as of late. I think we will be able to move the ball decently well against them. I think we will get some stops. As long as we don't turn the ball over, I think we win like 24-20. Pittsburgh is very overrated because for some reason some people think Pickett is the 2nd coming. Their defense is good but they give up big plays plus they have some injuries to some really important pieces. Their offense is bad. I know they've played good defenses but just watching the games, the can't run block and Pickett just misses guys. I'm confident this is a game we will win. Home opener with the crowd juiced for a Sunday Night game. I think it bodes well for us. That's just my opinion though

If Raiders lose this game, going be a long season, have to win this game, Raiders are going home, but probably be close to 50% percent, Steelers fans at the game, going to see a lot of terrible towels.

The Raiders are now favorites to defeat the Steelers, according to the BetMGM NFL odds.

    Spread: Raiders (-1.5)

We gotta give the coaches a chance to get it together; look at the defense, I think we have about three starter from last season...we tend to change so much every off-season...even if we lose to Pittsburgh it not end of the season as we can still turn it around....I do have to say at this point; Jon Gruden was a better coach than McDaniels....Gruden did keep the games close

Steelers fans are the best traveling fanbase in the NFL so yeah it's going to be packed with Steeler fans.

This ^^^^^ the staff hasn't had much to work with, and the draft picks have just started. Everyone is pissed they didn't execute on Sunday. They need to put a good game together.
