The opening line has the Steelers favored by 1 point against the Raiders on Sunday.
After the Raiders bad loss in Buffalo, I thought the Steelers would be favored by more.

15 carries for the entire team. JJ had 9 carries for -2 yards. That's really not overkill to give him 9 shots knowing his track record, but they couldn't get it done with him.
Then we had 24 pass attempts, so only 39 total plays for the team. We had the ball for 19:56 and the Bills for 40:04. Inability to sustain drives comes down to execution and the play of the opposing D.
We didn't execute on Offense. We didn't play well at all on O-line. We gave them the ball 3 times; 2 picks, 1 fumble. I don't get why Renfrow has to take a back seat, he came in and got a reception for 23 yards, PLAY the kid.
The D got gassed due to the failures of the O to sustain drives and the D basically looks like crap when out there. My personal opinion is Patrick Graham sucks. Spillane looks promising. Wilson looks like he has concrete shoes on. Crosby will want gone soon enough.
This team better start showing some promise, ability to compete, or we are on the same idiotic path we've been on for years.

If Steelers would have lost Monday Night, they probably get their first win against the Raiders on Sunday Night.
We haven't lost at home to the Steelers since 1995. Let's raid these bitches!
You're never as good as your best game and never as bad as your worst.
The loss on Sunday was due to a few factors, including our offensive line not holding out the Buffalo DL, causing turnovers; our defensive line not getting a good rush on Allen, part of which is because the refs REFUSED to call the constant holding of Maxx Crosby; young players like Jakorian Bennett and Tyree Wilson having growing pains; and McDaniels' in ability to game plan to quick hitters, screens and slants to take advantage of Buffalo stacking the line. Of course, once we got behind by more than two scores, it was a lost cause anyway. We were not going to be able to come back two TDs down with those plays.
Bennet will be a lot better in a week or two. Like most rookies, he's having difficulty transitioning to the pro game. But he has the talent to be good. Wilson is also struggling, and we need him to get good much faster. He missed most of training camp, got very few snaps in the preseason, and now with Chandler Jones out, he has to step up, which he hasn't. He's a rare talent, but he hasn't shown it. Yet.
