There is already a rift brewing between Payton and Wilson. Payton was a flashy hire but unless they get a top 5 QB, I'm not worried about what Payton will do there at the moment

Be careful what we all wish for. I can see the Broncos tanking and getting Caleb as their franchise qb for the next decade. So you will have Mahomes, Herbert, and Caleb Williams.. and then there is the Raiders with..... Aidan O Connell...
Don't get me wrong, I like O Connell a lot but he's none of the 3 I just mentioned.

Excellent observation. I winder how much of Wilson's contact is left for them to eat? We can always throw the last game to Denver...lol Wouldn;t that be something if Denver needed a loss on the last game and we wont let them lose...

Some say 2025 others say next year they can cut bait and move on. I dont see the Wilson Payton thing working out. I dont think either is happy right now and not just about being 0-2. Payton, Staley, McDaniels, I dont think any are good coaches. Payton could be, but he doesnt look like it so far. Its not working and they played two sub par teams and lost both. I read where Payton admitted privately that he was wrong about how good the Broncos D was. He thought it could be near the top, some are blaming Vance Joseph. Kinda like McDaniels thinking the Raiders were the golden ticket coming off making the playoffs. Now hes realized he wasnt any smarter than Gruden with Grudens guys and now has to figure out how win with his guys. Hes got this year and next. Staley sucks and should be out for certain at the end of the year.
