This why the Carr issue will always be funny to me. Clearly we needed to move on but I feel like some fans think that getting rid of him would just make this team so much better when in fact, we downgraded and still have a shitty defense. We aren't going to win anything unless we decide to upgrade the defense

Its easy to blame the QB, I felt like the team should have moved on a long time ago, and more of a mystery why Carr didnt move on long ago. But you put trash in the coaching and draft horrible year after year and what you see on the field is what you get. Really doesnt matter who you have at QB if you dont put anything around him. And have horrible coaching and play calling. I actually feel sorry for Jimmy G, of all the places in the NFL he could have landed in, this is the worst possible result.

Naw, the coaching and play calling aren't horrible, but the O-line and D-line BOTH suck and the execution is greatly effected.

The play calling has been bad since after the 1st drive. Which is exactly what I've explained to people multiple times. McDaniels can design good plays and the scripted plays he is great at. After those first 15 plays...he turtles...at least as an HC.
