We've had the ball 17 minutes because of both bad defense and not being able to sustain drives. We haven't been able to sustain drives because of bad play calling AND bad execution. Maybe you drank the Kool aid and are too enamored with the bling like Davis but McDaniels isnt immune from criticism. We haven't played well...this isn't a dispute. At the same time, the play calling outside of the first drive (which are scripted plays) has been bad. It has been uncreative, it's been vanilla, and at times it's been just dumb. This is a total team failure and he's the fucking head coach and it starts with him. This team wasn't ready to play and the execution AND play calling have shown that

Yeah, had this game as a L, time to focus on Pittsburgh, at least Chargers lost.

I did too. I knew this would be a tough game and I was not expecting a win but I expected a better performance. Pittsburgh is 100% beatable and I feel like it's a game we should win or at worst lose closely.

If they have a solid game at home next week, it could help right the path for the season. Just cant have a bad performance and a home game opener that stinks.

Don't know what your Mark Davis BS comment is, but obviously you started tripping in the middle of a decent post. Try to keep control of yourself in the future instead of looking like an ass in the middle of your run-on sentences.

The play calling isn't the issue, it's execution and horrendous line play. Bad lines on both sides of the ball do that, they make execution non-existent. Yes, that's coaching too, but the players need to make the plays and they simply don't execute them correctly. It's not that the play calls were bad, if they executed them then we wouldn't be having this conversation. Also, due to lack of being able to execute run plays they play-calling became one dimensional. Why? That's what happens when the players don't execute the play calls and the line plays horribly.
