Thread: Tyree Wilson...I am concerned

i'm gonna give him 2 years to fully judge, however we better see some improvement in technique and performance by mid year. by the end of the year i expect to see some stand out plays. next year i want more consistency and by the end of next year he better be a damn stud. missing chandler jones is forcing us to play him. he needs more reps, time on the field and time to learn. he looked horrible in g1

Both Wilson and Mayer are early disappointments, but its early so Im not writing either of them off yet.

It's easy to say this when you do not live in Vegas where a Raiders player just recently killed somebody driving drunk and not have to deal with the issues of drafting a player who was involved in a car racing incident where somebody died. It's really insane that you keep doing this, tbh.

He got a ticket for racing/reckless whatever, he wasn't drunk or high, he didn't kill anyone. He's the better player. Period. We will regret skipping on a player we had no shot at the being of the draft and then fell into our lap and said no. If you draft on the optics of a pick and not talent we will never win a Championship. And I'm sick of drafting #1 talent with significant injuries.

He had multiple red flags for personal behavior and he showed up to the combine out of shape and overweight. It doesn't matter what you're sick of - you're not running the team and you don't live in their communities where picking this guy would've been massive distractions for the team. There was no possible way the team would've made this pick and you haven't provided anything showing otherwise other than you willingly wanting to look the other way for a good football player.

Its Vegas, Whores , Booze, drugs, sex, gambling. I'm sure a ticket for poor driving would upset the community.

Main issue for me is he lied to the police when he was involved in an incedent that killed someone....

Yeah he messed up, but the league if full of kids who made mistakes. I just think we should of drafted him. We drafted Ruggs and he turned out bad with no previous flags, so you never know. Football is full of bad boys. I hope Wilson shakes off the rust and kicks ass.

This will not be a case of someone's opinion. We will know over time who turns out to be the better player. Carter is getting off to a better start.

People will bury their heads in the sand as long as their team wins football games. Pretty sad.
