Carter got a sack for the Eagles in his first NFL game on Sunday.

I'm hoping Wilson turns out well, but I'm very confident Carter will be a pro bowler.

I'm sure Carter also benefitted from already having pro-bowl talent all around him on the DL, not coming off an injury, and didn't miss the amount of training camp Wilson did. I would have loved to have taken Carter, but I understand why we didn't. But to compare these two after game one is ridiculous.

Agree its way too soon. But Carter has the makings of a better player going into the draft. I would of taken Carter.

    You know who looked good?
Arden Key harassing Carr all game for Tennessee.

Not sure if anyone listens to Q on the Raiders podcast but Q was stating its not that Tyree is that slow.
It's that he was thinking too much at the line of scrimmage.
He wasn't being instinctual. Hopefully he is right and it's just a matter of Crosby taking him under his wings and just telling him to go out there and fly... stop thinking so much. We shall see

He is slow! Go look at his film from Texas Tech! He can get better at that but now that I see that I am very concerned at how high he was drafted!

As another posted, he did not appear to be as slow off the ball when he was not in three point,

He’s coming off a lisfranc injury and isn’t as explosive now as he will be in a few weeks.
He looked quicker coming off the ball in the preseason. There could be a reason — our defensive scheme this game.
I wonder if the scheme was to not get him way up the field, anyway, potentially giving Russell Wilson huge lanes to scramble through for big gains through the air or on the ground.
Not making excuses for him, but he’s been practicing less than a month on the field and this was his first regular season game action. He’s also likely on a “pitch count” to prevent re-injuring his foot and to work him into the lineup.

If he’s not better in a month, then we might start to worry.

To this untrained eye it looks like he doesn't have any hand technique either, just pretty much a bull rush. No hand fighting or swim move or rip move either.
