As long as we see by the end of the year that we have had a good 2023 draft, we see an improvement in our defense, second year players show improvement, and Jimmy G shows even a slight improvement with better consistency in this season over Carr, I will see this second year for McDaniels/Zeigler as a success. If all that occurs, we might even compete for a wild card spot.

completed agreed with this post. we need to see improvement on defense and just about the same level of offense as last year - perhaps even better or more consistent (looking at the stagnation of offense at times) draft picks need to have a 50% success / starting rate or better (which is much better than the previous regime)
