Good stuff. Thanks for sharing... maybe my pessimistic outlook for this season will be wrong. That is the hope at least...
But definitely not going into season optimistically like I have for the past how many years only to be let down. Last year especially, as I was really optimistic going into last season with what we had on paper...

If the team continually proves you wrong then I think they're going to do it again this season. I'm actually kinda excited since Carr's gone. Lol

I hope you're right. And am curious to see this offense without Carr...but definitely don't think Jimmy G is the answer. We shall see

Depends what the question is - franchise QB? Nah. Good enough to hold the fort down and have a winning record? I think he can do that. I'm not sure if the team has the talent to do that this year but if the defense can close out close games then maybe.

As long as we see by the end of the year that we have had a good 2023 draft, we see an improvement in our defense, second year players show improvement, and Jimmy G shows even a slight improvement with better consistency in this season over Carr, I will see this second year for McDaniels/Zeigler as a success. If all that occurs, we might even compete for a wild card spot.

In 2021 we went 7-3 in 1 score games. In 2022 we went 4-9 in those games with some epic 2nd half collapses. In "theory" we should be back to around average in those games, 6-6 give or take a game. A lot of this season is riding on Jimmy's health because if he plays less than 8 games, this team is probably picking in the top 10. 11-14 games, probably winning 7-9 games. A whole season...we probably *should* be in the playoff picture until the end, don't think we make it in though
